Shillong Commerce College, NSS Unit celebrated the Pre-Independence Day by participating in the Har Ghar Tiranga Campaign. The celebration included taking the NSS Pledge and capturing memorable moments with the National Flag through selfies with the Tiranga.

As part of its Diamond Jubilee celebrations, the Green Initiatives of Shillong Commerce College, in collaboration with the Divisional Forest Officer, Shillong, and the Mawlynrei Village community, organised a tree plantation drive at Mawlynrei Village on the 29th of July 2026.

The second cycle of the drive saw more than 200 tree saplings planted by the students and demonstrated the college's commitment to environmental conservation and sustainable development.
