🌱 Placement Drive Success | School of Agricultural Sciences

The School of Agricultural Sciences, F.S. University, Shikohabad, successfully organized a placement drive in collaboration with AgroStar Company on 18th March.

A total of 30 students enthusiastically participated in the interview process, out of which 13 students were successfully selected, marking a proud achievement for the department.

On this special occasion, the selected students were felicitated and presented with their joining letters by Hon’ble Pro-Chancellor Dr. Yogesh Yadav, Trustee Dr. Nitin Yadav, and Coordinator Dr. Syed Kulsoom Fatima Jafri. Their presence and encouragement motivated the students to strive for excellence in their professional journey.

This successful placement drive reflects the commitment of the School of Agricultural Sciences towards enhancing students’ career opportunities and bridging the gap between academics and industry.

Guest Lecture on POSH Held at FS University, Shikohabad, Uttar Pradesh

A Guest lecture on the topic “Sexual Harassment of Women at Workplace (POSH)” was organized on 24 March 2026 at the Faculty of Law, FS University, Shikohabad.

On this occasion, Mr. Rohit Dwivedi, Advocate, Allahabad High Court, graced the event as the keynote speaker. He elaborated on women’s rights at the workplace, the concept of sexual harassment, relevant legal provisions, and their practical implications. He also explained the provisions of the POSH Act and the complaint redressal mechanism in detail.

The programme was successfully conducted under the guidance of Hon’ble Chancellor Dr. Dilip Yadav, Pro-Chancellor Dr. Yogesh Yadav, Vice-Chancellor Dr. Sanjeev Bhardwaj, Trustee Dr. Rahul Yadav, Dr. Nitin Yadav, and Director General Prof. Dr. Abhinav Srivastava.

Students actively participated in the session by asking questions, which were answered satisfactorily by the speaker. The lecture proved to be highly informative and beneficial for the students.

The programme was conducted by the Faculty of Law. A large number of students and faculty members were present on the occasion.

Organization of Legal Awareness Camp at FS University

A Legal Awareness Camp was successfully organized at FS University, Shikohabad, where students and attending citizens were provided with important information related to law. The objective of the program was to promote legal awareness in society and to make people aware of their rights and duties.

On this occasion, Ms. Yogesh Shiva, Secretary, District Legal Services Authority, Firozabad, was present as the Chief Guest. In her address, she emphasized that it is extremely important for every citizen to be aware of their legal rights. She also informed that the Legal Services Authority organizes such camps from time to time to provide free legal assistance to the general public.

During the event, the Hon’ble Chancellor Dr. Dileep Yadav, Pro-Chancellor Dr. Yogesh Yadav, Trustees Dr. Rahul Yadav and Dr. Nitin Yadav, Vice-Chancellor Dr. Sanjeev Bhardwaj, and Director General Dr. Abhinav Srivastava welcomed the Chief Guest.

All the speakers highlighted the importance of organizing such awareness programs in the university and stressed the need for their continuous conduct.

At the conclusion of the program, the In-charge of the Law Department, Mr. Gaurav Bhartiya Dwivedi, along with the entire university staff, was present. The organizers expressed their gratitude to all the guests and participants and resolved to continue organizing such programs in the future.
