Dear all,

We are sailing through the high tides which surely going to end. But, we need to encourage people and the society to believe that we will win. Governments, district administrations, local bodies, volunteers everyone making their little efforts to fight this pandemic. As we belong to an institutions which gives ways to the rural bright minds, we hope most of us are staying in villages or have contacts which can organize to spread awareness about this invisible enemy in our villages.

We encourage our fellow navodayans, classmates and younger brothers & sisters residing in villages to do make awareness in the villages, your small locality & your society. Our society - our nation has given us chance when we are child and doesn't know what society is. Now, this is the time when we can serve the society with our little efforts what ever it is.

I request each one of you to come forward and help to fight this pandemic. We doesn't want our roots get harmed in this hard time.

First of all, we should follow the SOPs of COVID 19.

1. Do encourage the villagers to keep hygiene in their vicinity.
2. Do encourage people to wear mask and maintain social distancing.
3. Make people aware of the symptoms of COVID 19.
4. Do encourage people to check their health condition and come forward for covid Test when they notice any symptoms.
5. Do encourage people to keep themselves isolated if they feel sick or down.
6. Do encourage people to Vaccinate themselves.
7. Do encourage people to not gather in public or community places.
8. Do encourage people to support the local administration and follow the guidelines.
9. Make people aware about the helpline of local bodies.

We have made enough posters, banners and outlets when we are studying. Now, we can test our creativity for the society. Do post this on the local groups, your village groups, local pages and encourage the members for poster & outlet.

We are smart. We are the helping hands of our locality. Come together and let's fight this pandemic.

Keep yourself safe & hygienic. Don't get over-enthusiastic. Save yourself & others.

We will win!! We will must win in our mission!!!

Why JNV ....?...

What does it mean by saying PPP model... will JNV also follow PPP model once it adopts the pattern... ??

We need more clarification... like admissions process ,fee,name will not be changed... no where it is mentioned.

JNV is already a model school (it has highest result in 10th class ) ... it should not be converted or need to follow other pattern... what JNV need is more quality teachers and More resources... for better functioning...

Please dont support this type of change fr JNV ...

Bihar like state need public funded institute instead of PPP model schools...

One very important point state govt. Schools are in very bad shape ... why arent they converting these school into said model (same govt) or establish new schools... why JNV...?

All Alumni , plz aware... dont let it destoy ur past / history ur emotion u share with Navodaya... in the name of so called ..

I am Pranay Pratap , currently pursuing b.tech in chemical engineering from IIT guwahati. Its really a matter of great pleasure for me to write here. I was in JNV sheohar form Oct 2008 to march 2013. And after that i completed my higher secondary education from YKJM college, sheohar . I also took the help of Vision classes, Patna while preparing for Jee advanced.

I was one of 40 lucky students who got chance for admission in class 6 in 2008 batch. And after that whole life started to change gradually with time. I learnt actually "Principles of Life" there. That was the place where i got a chance to interact with many intellectual seniors, without whom it was impossible for me to reach where i am. The thought and motivation for IIT-jee preparation also came from seniors of 1st and 2nd batch. I also had very good classmates whose consistent hard labour always motivated me to study well.I still remember how Amarjeet Kumar helped me in studying "History" last night before the exam. The teachers were also quite good there. we often had chance to interact with our teachers which was unique in itself because after that i never got the chance for such type of interactions.Even in IIT it is rarely found to have such interactions. I never got such motivations from teachers after coming out from JNV. Really those motivations and guidance from seniors and teachers were much more valuable. Whenever i suffered from depression during jee preparation i often consulted my seniors like Neeraj bhaiya or Shamim Ahmad bhaiya and tried to energise myself. I was lucky to have classmate, and also roommate, Ramkishore whose hard labour also kept me motivated towards my goal. So as i think it would not be exaggerated to say that Navodaya system has played the most crucial role in my life. Those 5 golden years can never be forgotten. At last i would like to say one thing that the feeling of selflessness and co-operation within the teachers, seniors and classmates were really unique and often helps at each stage of life.

jb navoday me tha to kosis hoti thi ki hm adhik se adhik marks laaye ,aur isi kosis me achi padhai ho gai.waha se nikalne ke bat mujhe guide line achhi nahi mili ,na senior samjha paaye aur na aur koi jo mere contact ka tha.i take decision my self what ever it was bad or good.now i feel a good guide line can change ones life that's all....

Hi friends, I'm Amarjeet Kumar. Currently I'm in IIT kharagpur pursuing integrated M.Sc in Mathematics & Computing. I was in navodaya from Oct 2008 to May 2015. A great & best part of my life, where I enjoyed a lot. We can just defined IIT as bigger version of navodaya. Many systems are like navodaya. Hostel where we spend a lot of time of the day, where we meet new people, make new friends and share our happiness & sadness. Most of the memorable part of navodaya life is in hostel where we do a lot of fun with our frnds. The motivation to came IIT also come from navodaya. One senior Prabhat Kumar who is currently with me, he is in fifth year about to complete his journey of IIT & another one Pramod Kumar. They were first to crack JEE from our navodaya. Many teachers always used to take them as example. I met them when they came for alumini meet. They told the fundas of cracking JEE & life at IIT campus. Then I also thought for IIT because life is very enjoyable and we learn many fundas of life with fun. I went for two year free IIT coaching provided by a NGO dakshana foundation with NVS in Pune navodaya. Teachers were motivating whenever I feel frustrated they guided me. They always talk about future and upcoming life. Seniors were also very cooperative they always discus about future what are the opportunities. No words for classmates whatever I tell for them that will be less, very supportive and helpful. Just one example, One of my friend Pranay he is currently in IIT guwahti he always keep books in front and tell just read this section it is very important. Actually he do this because he knows I didn't like study but for good marks I have to study. Many others examples are there. Whole navodaya was the family teachers were like parents, seniors were like elders brother & sister & classmates were........
