Interact Club of Kangra International School Organises Cleanliness Drive at Civil Hospital Shahpur

The Interact Club of Kangra International School, Shahpur organised a cleanliness drive at the Civil Hospital Shahpur premises on 23 May 2026, with the aim of promoting awareness about hygiene, cleanliness, and social responsibility among students and the local community.

The programme witnessed the presence of distinguished guests, including Rotary Club of Shahpur Past President Rotarian. Naresh Lagwal, Rotaract Club President Rtr. Abhinav Rana, and Rotarian. Ashwani K. Dhiman.

From the school, Mr. M.K. Bhardwaj, DPE Rahul Kumar, Club Advisor Aakash, Mrs. Sarita, and Mrs. Anu Sharma were present along with enthusiastic members of the Interact Club.

Students actively participated in cleaning the hospital park area and also interacted with the public to encourage the importance of maintaining cleanliness in surroundings. The initiative received appreciation from the dignitaries present, as well as the doctors and staff of Civil Hospital Shahpur, who praised the students for their dedication towards community service.

The school management and Principal lauded the efforts of the students and staff, highlighting that such initiatives help inculcate values of responsibility, discipline, and social awareness among students.

The school reiterated its commitment to continue organising such meaningful activities in the future for the welfare and betterment of society.

The cleanliness drive concluded successfully under the Interact Club of Kangra International School, Shahpur.

HPCA U-16 Cricket Trials Held at Kangra International School, Shahpur

The Himachal Pradesh Cricket Association (HPCA) U-16 trials were successfully conducted on 14 May 2026 at the sub-centre located in Kangra International School, Shahpur.

The selection process was conducted under the supervision of HPCA coaches including Coach Rohit Malhotra, Coach Columbus, and Coach Karan, along with School DPE Coach Rahul Kumar.

According to Coach Rohit Malhotra, more than 75 aspiring young cricketers participated in the trial. Out of these participants, around 50 players will be shortlisted. He further informed that the final list of selected candidates will be announced on Monday.

The trial witnessed enthusiastic participation from students showcasing their cricketing skills in batting, bowling, and fielding, as part of the HPCA’s talent identification program at the grassroots level.
