The 71st Independence Day was celebrated with full participation of students from the Nursery to X Std, it was an eye capturing view. The Chief Guest Mr. S.S. Shankar, the foundry head of GE Company Shahabad. The Guests of Honour were Mr. Samardeep Bhalla, the HR Admin of GE Company and Mr. K. Basavaraj, the DYSP of Shahabad, our special Alumni Mr. Tahir Ali, other dignitaries & Parents were present. A Fantabulous display programme was presented by our students in the guidance of efficient teachers along with the remarkable students speakers in English, Kannada & Hindi, gave boost to the programme.

On the occasion of "News Editors Day", on 4th of July 2017, The MCC school appreciated and honoured the following News Editors of Shahabad ,Mr. Ramesh Bhatt editor of Vijayvani newspaper, Mr. Mallinath Patil editor of Udayvani, prajavani and vishwavani newspapers & Mr. Vasudeva Chavan of Vijay Karnataka newspaper, in order to make the students understand the importance of reading newspapers, to make them aware of the current issues and to improve their writing skills in composing poems, journals, magazines and other articles. The school was also very grateful to them for encouraging our students to become editors. They also participated in plantation along with the students of MCC Eco-club in the school campus.
