Anchor Christian Academy

Anchor Christian Academy ACA was founded in 2016 by a Naga-American couple residing in Manipur, India. Our heart is to reach the poor and unchurched people of Senapati, Manipur.

The school was built with the help of family & friends, and by faith is in its second year. Classes range from kindergarten to fifth grade, rolling up to the next class yearly. ACA was founded to provide a quality, christ-centered education for any child in kindergarten to fifth grade in the Senapati area. Many people in Manipur are uneducated and lack running water, electricity, and transportatio

n. We seek to provide an affordable quality education to our area. Currently, the school is funded by its founders along with some friends and family. The financial goal of the school is to be self-funded by 2018. Please join us in prayer for the Lord to meet all financial needs, for our teachers and students, and for property for the school to expand.

New Designs*****With school in India starting in a few weeks, it’s time to start thinking about a permanent building! Unfortunately our bamboo walls are starting to deteriorate. ACA was constructed by family and friends. The pillars are trunks of trees cut from the jungles of Sorbung Village, the walls are woven strips of bamboo, the floors are packed mud, and all furniture was made from wood milled in Sorbung Village. Bamboo wall allows for great ventilation!
