My collage, SKCG Collage Parlakimidi, is now an autonomous body and has expanded vastly. My old class room was busy. The ground where I played cricked and scored a century is also expanded and very well maintained.

Had a great trip covering Arasavilli Sun temple, Srikurmam Vishnu temple and Srimukhalingam Siva temple and spent a couple of days with my niece at Parlakimidi and saw some of my old friends.

Bhishma, laying on a bed of arrows shot by Arjuna, asks for Ganga water. Arjuna shoots an arrow and a jet of Gangajal sprouts from the ground straight into Bheeshmas mouth. After that the Gangajal forms a pond nearby and this place is called Bheeshmakund situated at Kurukshetra. It is here that Bheeshma teaches Vishnu Sahasranama to Youdhisthara after the war.

Holy trip #2
Had a great trip of Maharashtra covering all the Jyotirlinga temples, Ajanta caves, Sirdi, Shani Shingnapur, Narsobawadi Datta temple and Kolhapur Mahalakshmi Shakti Peetha. Call it my luck or Gods grace, I visited the Grishneshwar Jyotirlinga Temple on the auspicious Shravana Masa Ekadashi day, Shani Shingnapur on Shravana Shani Trayodasi day and Bhimashankar Jyotirlinga on Shravana Poornima and Monday!
