If you know anyone working in this space—friends, juniors, or relatives—it’s a good time to suggest they explore other non-IT roles or start preparing for a career shift. Encourage them to begin brushing up their skills and attending interviews.
Content moderation projects are in huge numbers in companies like Accenture, Wipro, Genpact, and Tech Mahindra. With this change, businesses will likely retain top performers by shifting them to other process roles through IJPs, while others may face layoffs. In the next 2-3 months, keep an eye on the job market, especially for experienced professionals in this domain.
The year has started on a tough note, so avoid making any hasty decisions in 2026. If you have a weak BGV record, it’s better to hold on to your current job for now.
