His Excellency Sri Dharambeer Gokhool, Honourable President of the Republic of Mauritius, attended the 3rd World Telugu Conference as the Chief Guest, held from 3rd to 5th January 2026 in Guntur, Andhra Pradesh, under the chairmanship of Dr. Ghazal Srinivas and organized by the Andhra Saraswatha Parishath. His historic participation, the first by a sitting Head of a Sovereign Nation in forty years, strengthened Indo–Mauritius Telugu cultural relations and was officially recorded in The Telugu Book of Records as a significant milestone.
