💦🚿⛆RAIN DANCE BONANZA💦🚿⛆
The school was joyfully resplendent with colorful umbrellas, raincoat and water sprinklers. In addition the groovy music added that happening touch to the event. To some extent, it felt as if the sprinklers were showering giggles and jiggles in lieu of water. The children in a jovial mood, seemed to have a deep and abiding friendship with water.........that’s what their deeds of splishing and splashing in water said. Not only the kiddos, but the teacher's also revived magnificent memories of their childhood, and let that li'l child buried somewhere deep inside the maze of their heart, out! While the Nursery gang was ecstatically fond of the idea of a rain dance , the KG gang found the twisting, shaking and fiddling to the oh so very energetic music beat amusing.

It was a perfect day to celebrate the season of the king of fruits “MANGO” with a fun-filled learning opportunity in the form of a Mango Party. The whole school campus was decorated in yellow and green, in tune with the theme of the party. The children of the pre-primary section came dressed in shades of yellow and so did the teachers.

The “Mango Party” mania was kicked off by introducing different types of mangoes in the morning assembly. Children were introduced to an array of mangoes such as dussehri, safeda, chausa and langda. The children touched, smelled, and held the mangoes in an attempt to distinguish one from the other. They were quite excited and eager to know more about mangoes and their kinds.

The teachers and children engaged in various creative activities such as thumb printing, paper tearing and pasting, and drawing of mangoes. The children were able to associate with the shape, form and size of a mango better than before, and were proud of the drawings they made.

During the lunchtime, children shared and relished various varieties of mangoes they had brought as special tiffins.

Having thoroughly enjoyed the day, children left the school clutching to the fruity delight, a yummy big dussehri mango in their tiny hands and a handmade badge pinned to their dress, as a reminder of the fun-n-learn mango party, they had enjoyed immensely at Par amount international School.

Starting school can be a difficult time for children. Every child is hesitant to go somewhere new and see people she's never met before. Here are some helpful ways to prepare your child for her first day of school:

1. Let your child know what his schedule will be like. Tell him what time school begins and ends each day.

2. Ask your child about her feelings -- both the excitement and the concerns -- about starting school.

3. Visit the school with your child to see his new classroom and meet his new teacher before school officially starts.

4. Point out the positive aspects of starting school. It will be fun and she can make new friends.

5. Let your child know that all kids are nervous about the first day of school.

6. Leave a note in your child's lunchbox that will remind him you're thinking of him while he's at school.

7. Reassure your child that if any problems arise at school, you will be there to help resolve them.

8. Try to have your child meet a classmate before the first day of school so she will already have a friend when school starts.

9. Arrange for your child to walk to school or ride together on the bus with another kid in the neighborhood.

10. Find out about after-school activities that your child can join. Will there be a back-to-school party? Can she join a sports team?

“Education is the most which you can use to change the world.”
Education is the key to eliminating gender inequality, to reducing poverty, to creating a sustainable planet, to preventing needless deaths and illness, and to fostering peace. And in a knowledge economy, education is the new currency by which nations maintain economic competitiveness and global prosperity.
