Podar International School, Satara, celebrated the 80th Independence Day with great fervour, enthusiasm and patriotic spirit.

A Grand Celebration

The ceremony commenced with the flag hoisting by our Chief Guest, Mr. Sunil Singh Rawat, Principal, P*S, Satara, followed by a series of vibrant and inspiring performances.

The event featured:

Patriotic Welcome Dance: A lively performance that set the perfect tone for the celebrations.

Patriotic Welcome Song: A soulful rendition that echoed the spirit of patriotism across the school campus.

Inspirational Address: The Chief Guest’s inspiring words highlighted the true essence of patriotism, responsible citizenship and India’s journey towards progress.

Inter-House Patriotic Singing Competition: Students from all four Houses showcased their vocal talents, filling the atmosphere with pride and patriotic spirit.

Teachers’ Songs:Our talented teachers added a special touch to the celebration with their melodious performances.

Teachers’ Recognition: Teachers were honoured for their dedication, commitment and valuable contribution to the institution through Loyalty Certificates, Appreciation Letters amd trophies.

The students of Std. IV presented a spectacular thematic showcase, “The Living Planet Documentary,” as part of the “Green Guardians” unit. The event was a beautiful amalgamation of learning, creativity, expression, and environmental awareness.

Through a vibrant blend of presentations, a meaningful skit, dance, mathematics, PT drills, and an insightful exploration of the interdependence of living things, our young learners showcased their knowledge and talents with confidence and enthusiasm.

The programme beautifully highlighted the importance of nature, greenery, forests, flowers, physical well-being, and the delicate balance that connects all living beings. Each performance carried a meaningful message and reflected the students’ hard work, teamwork, and joyful spirit of learning.

A skit presented by the students depicted key events of the Quit India Movement, conveying a powerful message of patriotism, courage, sacrifice, and the spirit of freedom.
