Mr Sharad Kadam, Founder of Agroson Aadhar — an incubated startup at CIII KBPRF, Satara — conducted an insightful session on the fundamentals of entrepreneurship. He guided aspiring student entrepreneurs on developing innovative thinking, identifying real-world problems, and transforming ideas into impactful ventures.

Satara District Investment Summit Signs 91 MoUs Worth Over ₹4,000 Crore 📈🤝

Satara, August 15: The District Investment Summit (DIS 2026), organised against the backdrop of India’s 80th Independence Day 🇮🇳, marked an important milestone for Satara’s industrial and economic growth. A total of 91 Memorandums of Understanding (MoUs) were signed, representing investment commitments exceeding ₹4,000 crore in the district.

Startups incubated at Rayat Shikshan Sanstha’s Center for Invention, Innovation and Incubation (YC-CIII), Satara, also played a significant role in the summit. QHills Technology and Agroson Alliance signed MoUs with the Government of Maharashtra. Along with Natural Startup, these three companies are expected to invest approximately ₹80–100 crore over the next five years. 🚀

The proposed investments are expected to create local employment, encourage entrepreneurship, strengthen the startup ecosystem and contribute to Satara’s industrial development. 💼🌱

The summit was attended by Guardian Minister Shambhuraj Desai, Satara District Collector Santosh Patil, MAS President Dhairyasheel Bhosale, MAITRI Mumbai Additional Collector Dr Jayshree Katre, and District Industries Centre Assistant Commissioner U. S. Dandgawhal.

The event highlighted the growing confidence of investors in Satara as an emerging destination for industry, innovation and startups. Satara Incubation Centre CEO Shrikant Kundan and Industry Connect Head Atul Godse also played an important role in connecting startups with industry and investment opportunities. 🤝

DIS 2026 has strengthened Satara’s position as a promising hub for investment, entrepreneurship and sustainable economic growth. 📊✨

On August 13, 2026, the KBPRF-YC-CIII attended the District Executive Committee Meeting for Skill Development, Employment, Entrepreneurship, and Innovation at the Satara District Collector's Office. The meeting was chaired by the Hon. District Collector.

During the meeting, the CIII team provided a comprehensive overview of all the center’s activities to the government officers.

The team also had a personal meeting with the Hon. District Collector, Satara, in his cabin, and discussed about various funding proposals in detail.
