𝐆𝐍𝐒𝐔 𝐚𝐧𝐝 𝐍𝐌𝐂𝐇 𝐀𝐰𝐚𝐫𝐝𝐞𝐝 𝐏𝐫𝐞𝐬𝐭𝐢𝐠𝐢𝐨𝐮𝐬 𝐈𝐒𝐎 𝐂𝐞𝐫𝐭𝐢𝐟𝐢𝐜𝐚𝐭𝐢𝐨𝐧𝐬
𝗝𝗮𝗺𝘂𝗵𝗮𝗿 (𝗥𝗼𝗵𝘁𝗮𝘀), 𝗝𝘂𝗹𝘆 𝟮𝟯, 𝟮𝟬𝟮𝟲:
Gopal Narayan Singh University (GNSU) and Narayan Medical College & Hospital (NMCH) achieved a significant milestone as they were formally awarded ISO certifications during a prestigious ceremony held on Thursday at the Conference Hall, Administrative Block, GNSU.
The institutions were conferred with ISO 9001:2015 for Quality Management System (QMS), ISO 14001:2015 for Environmental Management System (EMS), and ISO 50001:2018 for Energy Management System (EnMS), recognizing their adherence to internationally accepted standards in quality, environmental responsibility, and energy efficiency.
The programme commenced with a welcome address by Prof. (Dr.) Vivek Sharma, Chairman of the ISO Cell. Highlighting the importance of the certification process, Mr. Manish Srivastava, representing Correct Certification, commended the institutions for their commitment to maintaining global quality benchmarks.
Addressing the gathering, Hon’ble Vice-Chancellor Prof. (Dr.) Jagdish Singh emphasized the vital role of quality assurance, institutional excellence, and continuous improvement in strengthening the academic and administrative framework of the University. This was followed by the formal presentation of ISO certificates to GNSU and NMCH by the dignitaries present.
In his address, Hon’ble Pro-Chancellor Shri Govind Narayan Singh underscored the importance of sustaining excellence and reaffirmed the University’s commitment to international standards, continuous improvement, and stakeholder satisfaction.
The ceremony marked a landmark achievement in the University’s journey towards excellence in governance, environmental sustainability, and energy management. The event witnessed the presence of esteemed members of the Board of Management, including Dr. Sangeeta Singh, Dr. Monika Singh, and Mrs. Nirupama Singh; Registrar Prof. (Dr.) Kumar Alok Pratap; Controller of Examinations Mr. Sudeep Kumar Singh; along with Deans, Directors, Principals, Heads of Departments, administrative officials, members of the ISO team, and non-teaching staff.
The ISO certification stands as a testament to GNSU and NMCH’s robust systems, efficient processes, and unwavering dedication to academic excellence, sustainability, and institutional growth.
The programme concluded with a vote of thanks delivered by Prof. (Dr.) Shaveta Sharma, Vice Chairman of the ISO Cell, who also successfully compered the ceremony.
