With hearts brimming with patriotism, pride and gratitude, Indore Public School, Sanwer Campus celebrated the 80th Independence Day of India with immense enthusiasm, reverence and also commemorating 150 glorious years of Vande Mataram—a song that has remained an enduring expression of love for our motherland. The celebration was a graceful tribute to the valiant souls whose courage and sacrifices laid the foundation of our free nation.
The occasion commenced with the unfurling of the Tricolour by our Principal Madam, followed by the National Anthem, filled the campus with an overwhelming sense of national pride and gratitude.
Addressing the gathering on this glorified occasion, our Principal Madam, emphasised that freedom is not merely a privilege to celebrate, but a responsibility to preserve it through character, integrity and becoming responsible citizens of India. Her words encouraged the students to pursue excellence, embrace diversity, respect their responsibilities and contribute meaningfully to the society.
The students presented a vibrant array of patriotic songs, dances, speeches beautifully portraying India’s glorious heritage, valour and unity in diversity. The spirit of the occasion was further enriched through a patriotic presentation, celebrating 150 years of Vande Mataram.
The celebration served as a poignant reminder that freedom was earned through sacrifice and must be preserved with full responsibility.
