At DAV Public School, STPS, the spirit of Har Ghar Tiranga unfolded as a heartfelt tribute to the nation we proudly call home. The solemn pledge reminded us that freedom comes with a responsibility, while the powerful voices of our students singing “Vande Mataram” turned the school grounds into an echo of love for the motherland.

Through various meaningful activities, our young minds expressed what India means to them.

The Essay Writing Competition organised by WBPDCL gave their thoughts a voice—words born from pride, gratitude, and dreams for the nation.

And as the Tricolour rises, may it awaken something within us—
the courage to serve, the strength to unite, and the promise to make India proud.

Some days are celebrated; some are felt deep within the heart.

At DAV Public School, STPS, the 80th Independence Day became a heartfelt tribute to a nation born from countless dreams and sacrifices. The inspiring words of our revered Madam, Head of the Institution and Honourable Chairman Sir reminded us that freedom is not merely a gift of the past, but a responsibility for the future. As the Tricolour was ceremonially hoisted, every heart stood united in pride and gratitude for those who gave us the freedom we cherish today.

The school premises seemed to come alive with the colours of patriotism as our talented students took centre stage. Through a vibrant cultural programme, they transformed the celebration into a beautiful tapestry of music, dance, and expression. Every performance carried a message—of courage that shaped our past, unity that strengthens our present, and dreams that will shape India’s future. Their voices and movements made the spirit of freedom feel young, alive, and eternal.

And perhaps, that is what Independence truly means—not simply remembering a historic day, but carrying its spirit within us. As the celebrations drew to a close, the Tricolour continued to flutter above us, quietly reminding every young heart that the story of India is still being written. May we grow worthy of the freedom we inherited and brave enough to build the India our forefathers dreamed of.

Friendship Day at DAV Public School, STPS was a beautiful celebration of laughter, togetherness, and the little bonds that make school life unforgettable. Our students participated in various activities, filling the day with smiles, warmth, and memories that will quietly live in their hearts for years to come.

Through these joyful experiences, the children also learnt to recognise their own strengths, appreciate the uniqueness of others, express themselves with confidence, and understand the values of kindness, sharing, respect, and togetherness—little lessons that make friendships stronger and hearts kinder.

Childhood will pass, classrooms will change, and life will take them to different paths… but these little moments of laughter and friendship will forever remain tucked away in their hearts.

The young wizards and witches of DAV Public School, STPS stepped into the magical world of Hogwarts as they joyfully celebrated Harry Potter's Birthday. Dressed as their favourite magical characters, the little magicians brought spells and imagination to life, filling the atmosphere with wonder and excitement.

The celebration became even more magical as the budding Potterheads enthusiastically participated in an engaging quiz, showcasing their knowledge of the beloved wizarding world.

Blue is the colour of calm skies, sparkling oceans, and joyful dreams!

DAV Public School, STPS celebrated Blue Day with great enthusiasm and excitement. Dressed in beautiful shades of blue, our young learners explored the significance of the colour blue and identified various blue-coloured objects associated with nature and the monsoon season. The celebration was a delightful blend of learning, creativity, and fun as students enthusiastically participated in engaging activities that enhanced their imagination, fine motor skills, and artistic expression.

DAV Public School, STPS observed Kargil Vijay Diwas with great pride and patriotism through a special morning assembly. The programme commenced with a meaningful speech by the students, highlighting the bravery, dedication, and supreme sacrifice of the soldiers who defended our nation's honour during the Kargil War.

Yellow Day Celebration at DAV Public School, STPS

A splash of sunshine, a touch of happiness, and a whole lot of smiles filled the campus as our little sunbeams celebrated Yellow Day with great enthusiasm. Dressed in vibrant yellow outfits, the students brightened the day with their cheerful presence. They brought yellow-themed tiffins and objects, explored the significance of the colour yellow, and confidently recited delightful rhymes related to the colour. The celebration made learning fun, interactive, and memorable while enhancing the children's colour recognition and speaking skills, creativity and the hunt for newer things.

DAV Public School, STPS proudly conducted its Investiture Ceremony, marking the beginning of a new chapter of student leadership. Following a democratic election process, the newly elected Student Council members were formally invested with badges and sashes, symbolizing their duties and commitment towards the school community.

The Head of the Institution addressed the gathering, encouraging the young leaders to uphold the values of integrity, discipline, and dedication. The newly elected council members then took the solemn oath, pledging to discharge their responsibilities with sincerity and pride.

The ceremony concluded with a sacred Havan, seeking divine blessings for the student leaders as they embark on their journey of service and leadership. The event was a beautiful blend of responsibility, tradition, and inspiration, fostering the spirit of leadership among the students of DAV Public School, STPS.
