A patriotic environment marked the celebration of Maharashtra Day at MIT Vishwashanti Gurukul School, as students and staff came together to honour the state’s heritage and formation. The campus reflected pride, unity, and cultural spirit.

The celebration began with a special assembly featuring flag hoisting, the National Anthem, and the Rajya Geet. The Preamble recitation and addresses helped students understand the significance of the day and values of unity and responsibility.

Students participated through speeches in English and Marathi, cultural presentations, and traditional performances like Lezim. Informative segments and felicitation ceremonies enriched the programme and encouraged appreciation for culture.
