📚✨ National Librarian’s Day 2026 | Granthapal Din Celebration ✨📚

On the occasion of National Librarian’s Day, celebrated on 12 August 2026, Bharati Vidyapeeth (Deemed to be University), School of Physiotherapy, Sangli organised Granthapal Din to commemorate the birth anniversary of the legendary librarian and educator Dr. S. R. Ranganathan.

The programme commenced with an insightful speech by Dr. Vandana Salunkhe, Librarian, highlighting the importance of the day and the invaluable role of libraries in academic growth. The event was followed by a lamp-lighting ceremony and felicitation of students who made exemplary use of the books issued from the library. The programme concluded with a heartfelt vote of thanks.

We sincerely thank Dr. Sneha Katke, Principal, School of Physiotherapy,Sangli for her constant encouragement and support in conducting such meaningful academic activities.🤗

🌸 A New Beginning | Student Induction UG Programme 2026–27 🌸

Bharati Vidyapeeth (Deemed to be University), School of Physiotherapy, Sangli, warmly welcomed the new batch of students through a thoughtfully curated 5-day Student Induction Programme 2026–27, held from 3rd to 7th August 2026.

The programme commenced with an Inaugural Ceremony, followed by an Infrastructure & Academic Overview. A special highlight of the ceremony was the Felicitation of Students for Academic Excellence, celebrating and appreciating outstanding academic achievements, along with an inspiring Alumni Speech that offered the new students valuable insights and motivation for their journey ahead.

Throughout the week, students participated in insightful sessions covering study strategies, time management, leadership, communication, career opportunities, global career pathways, financial literacy, stress management, healthy lifestyle, gender sensitisation, self-defence and cyber crime.

The programme further familiarised students with the hospital, clinical areas, college campus, laboratories, classrooms and library, helping them confidently step into their new academic and professional environment.

The Department of Paediatrics, Bharati Vidyapeeth (Deemed to be University) Medical College & Hospital, Sangli, in association with ACCI and the Bharati Vidyapeeth (Deemed to be University)School of Physiotherapy, Sangli, successfully organized an Adolescent Week Programme – Poster Competition on Life Skills on 6/08/2026.

Bharati Vidyapeeth (Deemed to be University), School of Physiotherapy, Sangli, successfully conducted a Free Physiotherapy Camp for Warkaris at Pachegaon Kh., Sangola, providing physiotherapy consultation, pain management, and rehabilitation guidance to support their health during the sacred Wari.

The camp was conducted by Dr.Athira D V(Assistant Professor ), Dr.Aavani Sayi Shyam (Assistant professor ), Dr.Safoora Parkar(Assistant Professor), Dr.Akshay Chougule (Associate professor ),under the guidance of Dr.Sneha Katke,Principal, along with undergraduate students from the Bharati Vidyapeeth (Deemed to be University) School of Physiotherapy, Sangli.

The initiative was organized under the visionary leadership of Hon’ble Dr. Patangrao Kadam, Founder, Bharati Vidyapeeth, and the guidance of Hon’ble Dr.
