Today, Hari Vidya Bhawan School celebrated the spirit of Independence Day with great enthusiasm and patriotic fervour for the students of *Classes IX–XII*. 🇮🇳
The celebration began with the *flag hoisting ceremony* by our respected *Chairman Sir*, followed by the *National Anthem*, filling the atmosphere with a deep sense of pride and patriotism. 🇮🇳
The cultural programme then commenced with vibrant *singing and dance performances presented by the four houses—Aknananda, Bhagirathi, Narmada and Sindhu*. Each performance beautifully reflected the spirit of patriotism, unity and pride in our nation.
The event was graced by our respected Principal Ma’am, who addressed the gathering and also joined us as a judge, making the celebration even more special. The programme concluded successfully with wonderful performances and an atmosphere filled with pride and joy. 🇮🇳✨

Tricolour Kite Making Activity

To celebrate Independence Day, students enthusiastically participated in a creative Tricolour Kite Making Activity. The activity encouraged students to express their love for the nation through art and creativity. They designed colourful kites inspired by the Indian Tricolour, incorporating saffron, white and green along with the Ashoka Chakra. The activity was a joyful learning experience that promoted creativity, teamwork, patriotism and pride in our nation. 🇮🇳

Our young learners celebrated the spirit of freedom through fun and creative activities! From handprint flags and patriotic crowns to flag making, Independence Day cards, and a beautiful freedom-themed tree, every activity was filled with creativity and patriotism. ❤️🤍💚

Today, the students of Classes 6 to 8 had an inspiring and meaningful session through a motivational video titled “One Secret to Achieve Anything in Life”, directed by Mohit Gupta. 🎥✨
The video encouraged students to: ✨ Believe in themselves and their abilities
✨ Stay focused on their goals
✨ Develop a positive and determined mindset
✨ Understand the importance of hard work, consistency and self-confidence
✨ Never give up, even when challenges come their way
The students watched the video with great interest and enthusiasm, reflecting on the message and understanding that success begins with the right mindset and the courage to keep moving forward. 🌱💫

📰 News Reading Activity – Classes IX & X

Our *News Reading Session for Classes IX and X* was a truly enriching and successful activity. 🌟

The students enthusiastically participated in the morning session, read newspapers, explored various news stories, and even prepared and presented their own *headlines*. 🗞️

This activity has helped students broaden their general knowledge, develop awareness of current affairs, improve their reading habits, and build confidence in speaking. Their *pronunciation, vocabulary, fluency, and presentation skills* are gradually improving with regular practice.

It was wonderful to see our young learners beginning their day with an activity that is both *interesting and educational*. Such initiatives encourage students to become confident readers, thoughtful learners, and well-informed citizens.
