तुम्हारे शहर के सारे दिए तो सो गए कब के
हवा से पूछना दहलीज़ पे ये कौन जलता है

अगर फ़ुर्सत मिले पानी की तहरीरों को पढ़ लेना
हर इक दरिया हज़ारों साल का अफ़्साना लिखता है

कभी मैं अपने हाथों की लकीरों से नहीं उलझा
मुझे मालूम है क़िस्मत का लिक्खा भी बदलता है

मैं अपना सम्मान अपने कर्मो से लिख कर जाऊंगा,
तुम हक से एक दिन सर झुकाओगे जरूर ...

वो था अपने पापा जैसा ही कही ना कही,
सब लूटा दिया उसने औरो पर, ये सबको बताओगे ज़रूर ...
