Today on World Photography Day, let's take a selfie without specs!

On 19 August 2026, as the world celebrates the art of photography, let’s celebrate something even more precious - the gift of clear vision.

A photograph does more than freeze a moment; it preserves emotions, memories and stories that stay with us for a lifetime.

At Trilochan Netralaya, every eye-care programme, screening camp and community outreach initiative carries one simple mission: to help more people see the world clearly and live their lives more fully.

Because sometimes, the most beautiful photograph is not the one we capture - it is the moment when someone sees the world clearly again.

This , let's celebrate the joy of seeing - because every beautiful view begins with healthy eyes.

🌱🇮🇳 Planting Hope for a Greener Tomorrow

As part of our 80th Independence Day celebration at Trilochan Netralaya, Sambalpur, our distinguished guests planted saplings on our campus — leaving behind a living symbol of hope, responsibility and a greener future.

Just as we work to restore sight, we also believe in nurturing a healthier world for generations to come. 🌿

A small plantation today, a greener India tomorrow. 🇮🇳

The 80th Independence Day was celebrated with great pride, joy and patriotic spirit at Trilochan Netralaya, Sambalpur, beginning with the ceremonial hoisting of our beloved Tricolour. 🇮🇳

We were privileged to have distinguished guests join us on this special occasion:

🌟 Ln Mr. Prabhat Palit, Past District Governor, Lions Club, Angul— Chief Guest
🌟 Dr. Acharya Suryakant Patjoshi, Associate Professor, Dept of Neurosurgery, VIMSAR — Chief Speaker
🌟 Dr. Nayan Kumar Patel, Associate Professor, Department of Cardiology, VIMSAR — Guest of Honour

Their presence and inspiring words added immense value to the celebration.

The campus came alive with a vibrant parade, patriotic dance performances, inspiring speeches by our children, and prize distribution to the winners of various competitions. The enthusiasm of our students, staff and children made the celebration truly memorable.

At Trilochan Netralaya, Independence Day is also a reminder of our responsibility — to serve our society with compassion, to bring the light of sight to those in need, and to contribute in our own way towards building a healthier and stronger India. 🇮🇳

As the Tricolour flew high, so did our collective spirit of unity, service and nation-building.

Happy Independence Day! Jai Hind! 🇮🇳

🇮🇳 Celebrating the Spirit of Freedom Across Trilochan Netralaya 🇮🇳

This Independence Day, the Tricolour flew high across all branches of Trilochan Netralaya, filling every campus with pride, gratitude and a renewed sense of responsibility towards our nation.

For us, serving the people—especially those in rural and underserved communities—is also a form of nation-building. Every eye we help see again, every child whose vision we protect, and every family whose hope we restore is our small contribution towards a stronger India.

As our teams across all branches came together to salute the Tricolour, we renewed our commitment to serve with compassion, integrity and dedication.

May our Tiranga always inspire us to dream bigger, serve better and contribute towards an India where quality healthcare reaches everyone, irrespective of where they live.
Happy Independence Day! 🇮🇳

Jai Hind! 🇮🇳
