Devotees r making beeline for Maa Darshan. Thousands of devotees have thronged Samaleswari Temple for a glimpse of DHABALMUKHI BESA of MAA, which is also called Ganga Darshan. Navaratri puja will begin now & continue for 9 days . During these days Maa will be dressed in several incarnations. The doors of temple r opened at 4. Am & Maa will remain in DHABALMUKHI BESA till 2 pm .(2day ).
The legend has it that the GODDESS is regarded as ansh of Durga along with 6 other shakti anshas of Odisha. On the 1st day of Navaratri the GODDESS adorns SHAILLAPUTRRI besha next day she trasforms into BRAHMACHARINI.On the following days the GODDESS assumes the incarnation of CHANDRAGHANTA , KUSUMANDA , SHANDHAMARA , KATYA YANI , KALARATNI M MAHAGOURI & finally she is dressed as RAJ RAJESHWARI.
Thousands of devotees throng to temple to pay darshan of the DEITY's dhabala mukhi on the eve of MAHALAYA.
