Our glorious institution recall his golden period when the Great Leader Padmashree Mayadhar Mansigha took responsibility of our alma mater. Gangadhar Meher University inaugurated The bust of him & renamed Central library as Mayadhar Mansingh Library.

The 13th National Workshop on "Structural Equation Modelling" was inaugurated today in the GMU. Nearly 200 students and scholars are getting trained.

We bow to Veer Surendra Sai & Netaji Subhas Chandra Bose on their Jayanti.
Veer Surendra Sai was a brave fighter born in the soil of Odisha who fought courageously against the British till his last breathe to save his state.
Netaji was a stalwart who committed himself towards ensuring India is free and leads a life of dignity. We are committed to fulfilling his ideals and creating a strong India.

The GMU is all set to achieve another milestone. MoU signed with the CPWD to give a new look to the existing campus. New academic building, administrative building, toilet block, ramp and structures for students' support services etc. are being prioritized. We are thankful to the Government of India for providing us with the RUSA funds.

Many many Congratulations to the honorable Vice Chancellor of GMU Prof. Atanu Kumar Pati Sir for being appointed as a member of the Odisha State Pollution Control Board by the Government of Odisha for three years. The GMU family feels proud of your achievements Sir. It's a great and proud moment for all of us.

Finally the GUN-MAN SECURITY staffs are there at work in GM University, Sambalpur. After lots of fight, we finally got the security. It's a great success of our students council who fought for this issue throughout the year and achieved it this year. We thank the University administration for considering the matter and taking step towards this.

It's the most memorable day for all the members of the students' council 2017-18 and all the ABVP members of GM University. It's the day when we won the students' union election in GM University. Our council completed one year today. We all are thankful to all the students of GM University for their love, affection, support and cooperation towards us.
