Goddess Kali, the personification of power, protection and divine energy, is worshipped on Kali Puja, the holy night of devotion and strength. Devotees decorate their homes with lights, flowers, and incense as darkness collides with the flicker of innumerable diyas, calling upon Maa's blessings to vanquish all evil and create bravery, wisdom, and peace.

Durga Puja Sasthi is the sixth day of Navratri and it is the commencement day of grand celebration of Durga Pujo.The day is especially significant for the ritual of Bodhon, the ceremonial awakening of the Goddess. With prayers, and offerings, devotees invite Maa Durga into their hearts and homes. Sasthi also marks the first public display of the idols, as pandals throw open their doors and festive fervor.
