Indian Institute of packaging Kolkata centre conducted a two days training program on branding and packaging of food and non food products of Manipur under the RAMP program component 5.3 that is Brand Manipur on 10 & 11 April 2026. This program has been given to Indian stock packaging Kolkata centre as a implementing agency of the RAM 5.3 brand Manipur by MANIDCO Manipur industrial development Corporation Limited. Iip Kolkata is organising and conducting such stunning program in all the districts of Manipur. On 10th and 11th April the same was organised in jiribam district at the Jiribum Municipality council guest house in collaboration with DIC i.e. District Industries centre Jiribam and MSRLM - Manipur State Rural Livelihood Mission Jiribam District office. The program was organised for the MSME entrepreneurs of Jiribam district who have valid udyam registration number. There were around 45 MSME entrepreneurs who have attended this 2 days training program at Jiribam. The training session was conducted by Dr Bidhan Das- Joint Director and Regional Head Head of Indian Institute of Packaging Kolkata and Dr. Asitava Sur - Technical c
Consultant and Guest Faculty of IIP Kolkata. Mr Wahengbam Premchand the district officer of MSRLM Jiribam district was also present and coordinated the training. Mr Karanjit from MSRLM Jiribam was also present and interacted with the MSME entrepreneurs. The participants were enthusiastic and interacted with the resource persons and gained the essential knowledge on branding and packaging from the training program. The training was well appreciated by all the participants. Certificate of participation was offered to all the participants along with the training kit and hospitality to each and every MSME participants. The program ended on 11th April 2026 Saturday with both of thanks by the city mission manager of msrlm district.

Today (10-04-2026) One day Training Program on Branding of Food and Non-Food Products of Manipur under the RAMP MN - 5.3 was conducted at the Jiribam Municipal Commission Training Hall at Jiribam, Manipur. Total 45 Participants from the different MSME Enterprises of Manipur from Jiribam District of Manipur and few State Government Officilas participated in the Training Program.

40 Students from The Department of Commerce from THK Jain College visited IIP Kolkata on 10th March 2026. A few moments are captured and being shared.

3. Best All-Rounder: Awarded to the student who has shown a remarkable balance between academic achievement, extracurricular participation and leadership qualities – Ms. Debrupa Ghosh.
Each student was Awarded with a cheque of Rs. 31,000.00.

Few moments of the seminar on “Innovating with Eco-Alternatives for Sustainable Packaging”, being organized by the South Asian Forum for Environment (SAFE) in collaboration with the Indian Institute of Packaging (IIP), Kolkata Centre on 13th February 2026 at the Indian Institute of Packaging, (Conference Hall) Kolkata, from 10:00 AM onwards.
