The Construction Engineering Department steadily improves, as seen by the shifting placement statistics year on year. This post draws the curtain on the placement updates for the Batch of 2024.

As placement coordinators, we, are thrilled to announce that our department has achieved a remarkable milestone: 100% placement for our graduating class. This incredible achievement is a testament to the hard work, dedication, and perseverance of our fellow classmates.
We are immensely proud of each and every one of you.

The unexpected placement scenario, the unstable state of the economy, the widespread layoffs in several multinational corporations, and yet the batch may guarantee the biggest number of student placements ever, with the highest CTC hitting an all-time high.

We extend our heartfelt gratitude to our faculty members, alumni and all whose guidance and support have been invaluable. Their mentorship has played a crucial role in shaping our futures and preparing us for the professional world.As a batch, we are thrilled to have successfully set a benchmark for the future and hope that it will continue to expand.

We are thrilled to share the outstanding achievement of Suhrid Barua, who has been selected for the Master's programs at NIT Rourkela and IIT Madras!
This is a testament to Suhrid's hard work, dedication, and passion for excellence. He unlocked the GATE of opportunities, choosing not to sit for placements as a backup, touch of fine confidence.

We are incredibly proud of Suhrid's accomplishment and wish him all the best in his future endeavors. He truly lives up to "A real Borda makes his own luck" or whatever the saying goes.

We are thrilled to share some fantastic news from the Department of Construction Engineering. Our very own Tomojit Kundu (alias - Tamojit) has hit the academic jackpot! He’s been accepted into not one, but TWO prestigious institutions—University at Buffalo and Carnegie Mellon University—for his master's in Materials Science.

The official Goodwill ambassador of the people, by the people - stuck in the lab all day to satisfy his inner child, former topper- Jalpaiguri Circuit. While the rest of us were chilling, Tomojit was busy making sure his future would be anything but “materialistic.”

Congratulations, Tomojit! We’ll miss you, but we're pretty sure the world of materials science just gained a motivated youngster!
