The Department of Electronics and Communication Engineering, Sona College of Technology, successfully organized a GATE Preparation Awareness Programme on “Problem-Solving Techniques and Shortcuts for GATE Examination” for ECE & EXE students.

The session was effectively coordinated by Prof. A.P. Jaya Krishna, Higher Studies & GATE Coaching Coordinator.
We were honored to have Dr. P. Pandiyan, Associate Professor (ECE), KPR Institute of Engineering and Technology, Coimbatore, as the resource person, who shared valuable strategies and insights for GATE aspirants.

The Department of Electronics and Communication Engineering (ECE), Sona College of Technology, successfully organized a 15-day intensive Placement Training Program on Advanced Java for ECE students, in association with LIVEWIRE Salem.

The program equipped students with industry-relevant technical skills including Java, SQL, and Java Swing, complemented by hands-on real-time project development, effectively bridging the gap between academic learning and industry expectations.

To ensure complete placement readiness, the final phase of the program focused on resume creation, LinkedIn and professional profile building, and one-on-one mock interviews, offering students personalized career guidance and actionable feedback.
