Mr. S. Vikesh, I Year B.E. Safety and Fire Engineering student of Sona College of Technology, has won the 🥉 Bronze Award from the Safety Engineers Association (SEA) Professional Development Forum for producing an outstanding HSE short film.

Empowering Mechanical Engineering faculties with industry-ready BIM skills!

The Mechanical Department faculties of Sona College of Technology actively participated in a 5-day Industrial Training Program on Building Information Modeling (BIM) conducted at Vee Technologies, Salem. The program offered hands-on training in Revit, HVAC ducting & piping, Scan-to-BIM, BIM coordination, BIM 360 environment, and real-world industrial applications.

This training enhanced the faculty members’ expertise in advanced BIM technologies and strengthened the industry-academia connection, empowering them to deliver industry-ready knowledge and practical insights to students.

We express our heartfelt gratitude to Mr. Chocko Valliappa, Chief Executive Officer & Managing Director of Vee Technologies and Vice Chairman of Sona Group of Institutions, for his continuous support in promoting industry-integrated learning and faculty development initiatives.
