🔥 Ms. Uma Reddy , President, FKCCI - Federation of Karnataka Chambers of Commerce & Industry, ignited the room with her compelling address on women's economic empowerment.
🎓 Dr. Akali Fulmer, International Admissions Consultant, University of West Alabama, spoke passionately about how educating women transforms classrooms, workplaces, and entire societies — and unveiled an exciting announcement: University of West Alabama's twinning programme with Sona Star Innovation, offering a credit transfer pathway for students to pursue studies both in the USA and at Sona!
💡 Ms. Veena Kumaravel (Founder, Naturals Beauty Salon), Mrs. Gayathri Samraj (Gainwell Technologies), J. Sugariya (Salem Silk Handloom), and Sowmya Jayakumar (CEO, Edutech Pvt Ltd) shared powerful stories of entrepreneurship, mental resilience, and breaking norms that hold women back.

Thiagarajar Polytechnic College, Salem had the privilege of hosting the Conclave of Principals, Associate NCC Officers (ANOs) and Caretakers organized by 11 (TN) Signal Company NCC.

The programme was conducted under the guidance of Col. Ashwin Sunder, Officer Commanding, 11 (TN) Signal Company NCC, and brought together Heads of Institutions, Associate NCC Officers, and NCC Caretakers from various educational institutions.

The conclave served as an important platform to discuss key aspects of NCC activities, administration, training schedules, camps, cadet participation, and institutional coordination. In his address, Col. Ashwin Sunder emphasized the importance of discipline, leadership, and active participation of cadets, highlighting the vital role of institutions and officers in guiding cadets towards excellence, social service, and national integration.

The session provided valuable opportunities for interaction, exchange of ideas, and strengthening collaboration between educational institutions and the NCC organization.

The event concluded with appreciation to 11 (TN) Signal Company NCC for organizing the conclave and to all the Principals, ANOs, and Caretakers for their active participation.

🏅 S. Gowtham (III Year – Computer Engineering) secured Second Prize in the National Level Srinivasa Ramanujan Mathematical Competition 2025–2026.
🏅 Sarvesh Ram (II Year – Artificial Intelligence & Machine Learning) secured Third Prize in the same competition.
🏆 Thiagarajar Polytechnic College was also honoured with a Special Appreciation Award for registering the highest number of student participants at the convention.
