Another fruitful conversation with MIT Economics Professor. Ben Olken (Co-Director Abdul Latif Jameel Poverty Action Lab (J-PAL) & National Bureau of Economic Research ) during his visit to Chennai. His research focuses on the targeting/identification of beneficiaries for welfare schemes. We discussed various topics, including the Rs 1000 scheme and strengthening Local Body Finances.
