Respected Xaverian Family,

On behalf of the Executive Committee of SOXA, I extend my heartfelt gratitude to each one of you for your constant trust, encouragement, and blessings. Your support inspires us to work with renewed dedication for the growth and betterment of our alma mater.

It gives me immense pleasure to share that our summer camp, “ *Print Ki Jadui Duniya* ,” was a grand success with an overwhelming participation of *74* young learners. Being the first initiative of its kind, the camp created a wonderful platform for creativity, learning, and artistic exploration.

The beautiful *Terracotta creations* and *Lino prints* displayed during the exhibition on the concluding day spoke volumes about the dedication of the participants and the overall success of the programme. The confidence and joy reflected in the words of our little brothers and sisters during their presentations filled all of us with immense pride and satisfaction.

I sincerely thank *Rev. Fr. Arul Doss* for his valuable support and encouragement throughout the programme. My special appreciation goes to *Prof. Dr. Santosh* and *Mr. Sanjeet* for their excellent coordination. I must also acknowledge the tireless efforts of *Mr. Sunit* , *Mr Arindam* , *Mr. Deep* , and *Mr. Aman* , whose hard work ensured the smooth and grand ex*****on of the event.

A special word of thanks to *Mr. Amrit Prakash* and his entire team for conducting the camp with such efficiency, creativity, and professionalism.

I also express my sincere gratitude to all our SOXA family members for your encouraging comments and appreciation on the successful completion of this event. Your kind words motivate us to continue creating meaningful opportunities for our school community.

Our heartfelt thanks also go to the media fraternity for their elaborate coverage, which beautifully showcased the spirit and success of this unique initiative.

Dear SOXA Family,

There are moments when time stands still—and today was one such beautiful occasion, filled with nostalgia, gratitude, and pride.

We were delighted to welcome our esteemed senior Xaverians—Mr. Sandeep Banerjee (Batch of 1977), Mr. Reepal Mishra & Mr. Sajan Tibrewal (Batch of 1984), along with Mr. Anand Kumar from Bhagalpur—as they visited our beloved alma mater to relive their cherished memories.

Their presence brought alive the true spirit of being a Xaverian. Special thanks to Arun Bhaiya and Amit Bhaiya for making their morning at the school truly memorable. A particularly heartwarming moment was when Sandeep Bhaiya interacted with students, even taking a class and inspiring young minds with his words of wisdom.

Their visit to Respected P. K. Biswas Sir was nothing short of a heartfelt Gurudakshina—a beautiful gesture of respect and gratitude towards a revered teacher.

The day concluded on a wonderful note as we shared memories of the past and present over an evening together at Surya Plaza Hotel. We sincerely thank Amit Bhaiya and O. P. Bhaiya for joining us for dinner and adding warmth to the gathering.

Such moments remind us that while years may pass, the bond of being a Xaverian only grows stronger.

*Clothes Distribution Drive by SOXA*

SOXA organized a Clothes Distribution Drive on 14th January 2026 to serve the needy tribal communities. The event was graced by Reverend Father Arul Doss SJ, Hon’ble President of SOXA and the Principal of St Xavier's School Sahibganj and Reverend Father Ignatius SJ, Principal of St. Xavier’s High School (Hindi Medium).

*Villages Covered & Beneficiaries*

The drive covered five villages—Champa, Tetariya, Adro, Mahuakol, and Patri—benefiting around 150 families.

*Source of Clothes*

Warm and new clothes were donated by fellow ex-Xaverians, as well as the guardians and parents of present Xaverians. A special contribution was made by Mr. Bhuwan Tulsiyan who contributed new sarees and clothes, while Mr. Sneh Shankar and Mr. Vinay Kumar Singh donated new caps and socks for the beneficiaries.

Clothes were distributed among children, women, and men, ensuring inclusive support for all families.

*Special Invitee*

It was a proud moment for SOXA to welcome Mr. Avinash Verma, an alumnus who recently secured All India Rank 6 in the IES examination, inspiring everyone present.

*Food Package Sponsorship*

Each beneficiary family received a food package containing beaten rice and jaggery, generously sponsored by Mr. Sanjay Diwan and Dr. Sumit Kumar.
