St. Mary’s School, Chilkana Road, Saharanpur, successfully concluded the three-day First Sopan Camp of Bharat Scouts & Guides with great enthusiasm and pride.
The camp was organised under the guidance of Principal Sushma Bajaj maam, Director Saurabh Bajaj sir, Anu Bajaj maam, Coordinator Seema Gumber maam and Rehman sir. The inauguration and flag hoisting were conducted by Mr. Amjad Ali, Training Counsellor, Bharat Scouts & Guides, Uttar Pradesh, District Saharanpur.
Students gained practical knowledge of scouting history, rules, promises, flag etiquette, tent pitching, knots & lashings, first aid, discipline and service. The training encouraged them to become self-reliant, responsible and ready to serve society and the nation.
A special appreciation to Mohammad Mustaqeem Ansari sir and Renu maam for their valuable contribution in making the camp successful and well organised.
The camp concluded with students and trainers sharing their experiences and taking a pledge to carry the values of discipline, leadership, teamwork and service into their lives.
