Dellmond International School

On the occasion of *Janmastami* , we the *Dellmondians* celebrated this festival by engaging the students in the competition like pot decoration and flute decoration.

Children enjoyed in doing that. Pot decoration was given to the students of classes 4th to 8th and the flute was decorated by the students of classes 1st to 3rd. It was very difficult to choose the winners as all have showcased their best talents in the art work.

The happy faces of our children made the festival even happier.
We see God in children and there is no other festival other than Janmashtami which gives plenty of opportunities to involve children in the celebrations. Although it is a joyous Hindu festival, but India being a diverse country where we believe in celebrating all festivals with equal harmony, our children at Dellmond International School, came together to celebrate this day with their friends and teachers.

Raksha Bandhan is a special occasion to celebrate the virtuous bond of love between a brother and a sister which is one of the deepest and noblest of all human emotions.

To commemorate this festival, a ‘Rakhi Making Activity’ was organized for the students of classes 1st to 3rd. And 'Card Making Activity' for classes 4th to 8th The students made beautiful Rakhis using different articles like silken thread, glitter sheets, ribbon, etc. The children thoroughly enjoyed this activity and were excited to take it home.

May the spirit of freedom and patriotism guide us towards a prosperous future. On this Independence Day, let's honour the courage of our forefathers and strive to build a better India together.

The festival of Hariyali Teej reminds us that womanhood should be celebrated every day. Let us seek the blessings of the almighty and rejoice in the monsoon.
