Delhi Public School Makronia organised the Second Round of the Inter-House Debate Competition on 22 August 2026 between Godavari House and Krishna House on the thought-provoking topic, “Are Women Safe in Society?” The participants presented their views with confidence, clarity and strong reasoning, putting forward relevant arguments and counterarguments on women’s safety in society. The debate was assessed by the esteemed judges, who carefully evaluated the participants on the basis of content, presentation, arguments, rebuttals and overall confidence. The second round witnessed an engaging exchange of ideas and showcased the students’ excellent communication, analytical and debating skills. Principal Mr. Jijeesh Joseph appreciated the sincere efforts of the participants and encouraged them to express their opinions confidently while becoming responsible and aware citizens. The competition proved to be an enriching and thought-provoking experience for participants as well as no participants.

🌧️☔ Rainy Day Celebration – Pre-Primary ☔🌈
Delhi Public School Makronia celebrated Rainy Day with great enthusiasm and excitement with our little learners of Nursery, LKG and UKG. The school premises came alive with the joy and colours of the monsoon season. 🌧️💙
The children came dressed in colourful casual outfits and participated enthusiastically in various rain-themed activities, fun games, and creative experiences. They enjoyed learning about the rainy season while developing their creativity, imagination and social skills.
The celebration was filled with laughter, joy and beautiful memories. Our little ones had a wonderful time experiencing the magic of rain and learning that every season brings its own beauty and happiness. 🌈🌦️
It was truly a fun-filled and memorable day for our little rain lovers! 💕☔

Under the aegis of the School Games Federation of India (SGFI), a grand District-Level Karate Competition was organized at Delhi Public School, Makronia. Around 80 talented players from various schools of Khurai, Bina, and Sagar districts participated enthusiastically, showcasing their sporting talent, discipline, and confidence.
During the competition, the players demonstrated excellent karate techniques, skills, and sportsmanship across various age categories. Their enthusiasm, dedication, and outstanding performances impressed everyone present. In the Under-14 Girls category, Rashmika Dubey and Avni Soni, and in the Boys category, Mohit Saur and Tanishq Dubey won gold medals. In the Under-17 Boys category, Shivansh Dubey, and in the Under-19 Boys category, Mayank Yadav, Dhairya Tiwari, and Naman Parte secured gold medals and qualified for the Divisional-Level Competition.
The competition, organized on the school premises, highlighted the importance of sportsmanship, self-discipline, self-defence, and physical and mental strength among students. The successful conduct of the event was made possible through the valuable contribution of the school management, sports department, coaches, and organizing committee.
On the occasion, the Principal of the school, Mr. Jijeesh Joseph, congratulated all the players and extended his best wishes for their future competitions. He said that sports are an integral part of the holistic development of students. Such events provide students with opportunities to nurture their talents while developing discipline, patience, confidence, and team spirit.
The successful organization of the SGFI District-Level Karate Competition was a proud occasion for DPS Makronia and further strengthened the school’s identity as a platform for nurturing and promoting sporting talent.
