যোৱা ২৭ জুন, ২০২৬ তাৰিখ শনিবাৰে শদিয়া মহাবিদ্যালয়ৰ প্ৰেক্ষাগৃহ প্ৰতিভালয়ত মাহিবদ্যালয়ৰ নাট্যগোষ্ঠী ‘‘নাটঘৰ’’ৰ উদ্যোগত নাট্যকাৰ মণি হাজৰিকাৰ নাটক ‘‘কেকোঁৰা’’ মঞ্চস্থ কৰা হয়৷ ‘‘কেকোঁৰা’’ নাটখনৰ পৰিচালনাৰ দায়িত্বত আছিল যুৱ নাট্যকাৰ, পৰিচালক তথা ৰাষ্ট্ৰীয় নাট্য বিদ্যালয়, ত্ৰিপুৰাৰ পৰা উত্তীৰ্ণ হোৱা শ্ৰী নয়ন য়েইনে৷ সহযোগী পৰিচালক হিচাপে শদিয়াৰ উদীয়মান যুৱক শ্ৰী হিমাংশু ডেকাই নাটখনৰ পৰিচালনাত সহযোগ কৰে৷ ডিব্ৰুগড় বিশ্বিদ্যালয় আৰু মাজুলী সাংস্কৃতিক বিশ্ববিদ্যালয়ৰ পৰিৱেশ্য কলা অধ্যয়ন কেন্দ্ৰৰ পৰা নাট্যবিষয়ত ডিগ্ৰী লাভ কৰা শ্ৰী ডেকাই অলপতে নতুন দিল্লীস্থ ৰাষ্ট্ৰীয় নাট্য বিদ্যালয়ৰ দ্বাৰা অনুষ্ঠিত হৈ যোৱা বাচনি পৰীক্ষাত উত্তীর্ণ হৈ ছিক্কিমস্থিত ৰাষ্ট্ৰীয় নাট্য বিদ্যালয়ত প্ৰশিক্ষণৰ বাবে নিৰ্বাচিত হৈছে। নাটখনত অভিনয় কৰে মহাবিদ্যালয়ৰ ছাত্ৰ-ছাত্ৰী ক্ৰমে ববিতা সোণোৱাল, অসীম বুঢ়াগোহাঁই, ৰৌজ বৰুৱা, মৃণ্ময় গগৈ, নিকুমণি সোণোৱাল, হৰি সোণোৱাল, শ্যামলিকা নিৰ্মলীয়া, লক্ষ্মী দেৱী ছেত্ৰীয়ে৷ নাট্যসন্ধিয়াটোত শদিয়া অঞ্চলৰ নাট্যচর্চাৰ লগত জড়িত হৈ থকা বিশিষ্ট ব্যক্তিসকলৰ লগতে স্থানীয় প্ৰশাসনৰ নিমন্ত্ৰিত অতিথিবৃন্দৰ লগতে মহাবিদ্যালয়ৰ শিক্ষক কৰ্মচাৰী তথা ছাত্ৰ-ছাত্ৰী, অভিভাৱক উপস্থিত থাকি উপভোগ কৰে৷ নাটখনৰ প্ৰযোজনা কৰে মহাবিদ্যালয়ৰ নাট্যচৰ্চাৰ কেন্দ্ৰ হিচাপে নতুনকৈ সংযোজন ঘটোৱা ‘‘নাটঘৰ’’ নাট্যগোষ্ঠীয়ে৷ ‘‘নাটঘৰ’’ৰ উদ্যোগত মঞ্চস্থ কৰা এয়াই প্ৰথমখন নাটক৷ এই নাটখন ইতিমধ্যে দুলীয়াজান মহাবিদ্যালয়ত অনুষ্ঠিত হৈ যোৱা ২০২৬ বৰ্ষৰ ডিব্ৰুগড় বিশ্ববিদ্যালয়ৰ আন্তঃমহাবিদ্যালয় যুৱ মহোৎসৱত নাট্যস্থ কৰা হৈছিল। অনুষ্ঠানৰ শেষত উপস্থিত দৰ্শকে নাটকৰ কলা-কুশলীৰ অভিনয়, পৰিচালকক ভূয়সী প্ৰশংসা কৰে৷ লগতে শদিয়া অঞ্চলৰ নাট্যচৰ্চাৰ ক্ষেত্ৰখনক আগুৱাই নি নৱপ্ৰজন্মক এখন মঞ্চ দিয়াৰ লগতে এই নাট্যচৰ্চা পৰম্পৰা আগুৱাই নিবৰ বাবে গঢ় লোৱা ‘‘নাটঘৰ’’ প্ৰতিষ্ঠাৰ বাবে মহাবিদ্যালয় কৰ্তৃপক্ষৰ শলাগ লয়৷ অনুষ্ঠানটোৰ আঁত ধৰে মহাবিদ্যালয়ৰ পদাৰ্থবিজ্ঞান বিভাগৰ সহকাৰী অধাপিকা আৰু নাটঘৰৰ এগৰাকী অন্যতম প্ৰতিষ্ঠাপক সদস্য ড০ শাৰদী বৰাই৷ অনুষ্ঠানৰ আৰম্ভণিতে অধ্যক্ষ ড০ ভূপেন চুতীয়াই আদৰণি বক্তৃতা আগবঢ়ায় আৰু লগতে মহাবিদ্যালয়ৰ ছাত্ৰ-ছাত্ৰীসকলৰ মাজত গঢ় লৈ উঠা নাট্যচৰ্চাৰ যাত্ৰাটোৰ চমু আভাস দাঙি ধৰে৷ অনুষ্ঠানৰ শেষত ড০ বৰাই এই ক্ষেত্ৰত আৰম্ভণিৰ সময়ছোৱাত প্ৰশিক্ষণ প্ৰদান কৰি ছাত্ৰ-ছাত্ৰীসকলক পথপ্ৰদৰ্শন কৰা নাট্যকৰ্মী ড০ প্ৰাঞ্জল বুঢ়াগোহাঁই, চয়নিকা শইকীয়া, মলয়া বৰুৱাৰ নামো স্মৰণ কৰে আৰু বিগত তিনিটা বছৰৰ ছাত্ৰ-ছাত্ৰীৰ মাজত গঢ় লোৱা নাট্যচৰ্চাৰ খতিয়ান দাঙি ধৰে৷ লগতে এই ক্ষেত্ৰত ওতঃপ্ৰোতভাৱে জড়িত হৈ থকা মহাবিদ্যালয়ৰ অধ্যাপকবৃন্দ ক্ৰমে এলিনা শইকীয়া, ড০ দিপেন্দ্ৰ কুমাৰ খনাল, ৰূপম গগৈ আৰু ড০ দিপজ্যোতি কলিতাকে আদি কৰি সকলো অধ্যাপক-অধ্যাপিকাৰ শলাগ লয়৷ শেষত শ্ৰী ডেকাক নাটঘৰৰ ফালৰ পৰা ধন্যবাদসূচক সম্বৰ্ধনা আগবঢ়োৱা হয়৷ লগতে যিসকল প্ৰাক্তন ছাত্ৰ-ছাত্ৰীয়ে মহাবিদ্যালয়ৰ নাট্যচৰ্চাৰ ক্ষেত্ৰখনক সমৃদ্ধ কৰি গৈছে তেওঁলোকৰো চিনাকি দাঙি ধৰে আৰু শলাগ জ্ঞাপন কৰে৷

The Anti- Drugs/Tobacco Cell, Sadiya College in collaboration with NSS Unit, Sadiya College and Red Ribbon Club, Sadiya College organised an awareness cm pledge taking ceremony on the occassion of International Day Against Drug Abuse and Illicit Trafficking on 26-06-2026 at the college premises. The event was inaugurated by Dr. Bhupen Chutia, Principal, Sadiya College and moderated by Mr. Hemanta Deori, Convenor, Anti-Drugs/Tobacco Cell, Sadiya College.
More than 200 students participated in the event and took pledge against Drug abuse, along with faculty and staff of the college.

শদিয়া মহাবিদ্যালয়ত ৰাভা দিৱস উদযাপন
শদিয়া মহাবিদ্যালয়ৰ অসমীয়া বিভাগৰ উদ্যোগত ২০ জুন, ২০২৬ তাৰিখে অসমীয়া জাতিৰ অন্যতম প্ৰবাদপ্ৰতিম ব্যক্তিত্ব বিষ্ণু প্ৰসাদ ৰাভাৰ মৃত্যু তিথি উপলক্ষে ৰাভা দিৱস উদযাপন কৰা হয়। প্ৰতি বছৰৰ দৰে এইবাৰো আয়োজন কৰা অনুষ্ঠানটি মহাবিদ্যালয়ৰ অধ্যক্ষ ড০ ভূপেন চুতীয়াৰ বন্তি প্ৰজ্বলনেৰে শুভাৰম্ভ হয়। উদ্বোধনী ভাষণত তেওঁ ৰাভাদেৱৰ সৃষ্টি, আদৰ্শ আৰু জীৱন-দৰ্শনে নৱপ্ৰজন্মক সঠিক পথৰ সন্ধান দিব পাৰে বুলি মত প্ৰকাশ কৰে।
অনুষ্ঠানত অসমীয়া বিভাগৰ মুৰব্বী অধ্যাপক হেমন্ত কুমাৰ দেউৰীয়ে ৰাভা দিৱসৰ তাৎপৰ্য, ৰাভাৰ আদৰ্শ আৰু সমাজ গঠনত তেওঁৰ চিন্তা-চৰ্চাৰ প্ৰাসংগিকতাৰ ওপৰত আলোকপাত কৰে। ইয়াৰ উপৰিও মহাবিদ্যালয়ৰ উচ্চতৰ মাধ্যমিক আৰু স্নাতক শাখাৰ ছাত্ৰ-ছাত্ৰীসকলে ৰাভা সংগীত, নৃত্য পৰিৱেশনৰ জৰিয়তে অনুষ্ঠানটিক সজীৱ আৰু মনোমোহা কৰি তোলে। ৰাভাদেৱৰ বহুমুখী অৱদান স্মৰণ কৰি অনুষ্ঠিত এই অনুষ্ঠানটিয়ে ছাত্ৰ-ছাত্ৰীসকলৰ মাজত তেওঁৰ আদৰ্শ আৰু সাংস্কৃতিক চেতনাক অধিক শক্তিশালী কৰি তোলাত সহায় কৰিব বুলি আশা কৰা হৈছে।

The NSS Unit, Sadiya College AND NCC Unit, Sadiya College jointly observed the International Day for Yoga - 2026, in collaboration with Vivekananda Kendra, Dibrugarh Tinsukia Vibhag at the College Premises. The event was inaugurated by Dr. Bhupen Chutia, Principal, Sadiya College, in presence of Students, Faculty Members and Staff of the College. He emphasised on the theme “Yoga for a Healthy Ageing” and urged students to make Yoga an eternal part of daily life.
The event also marked the closing ceremony of the 5 Day Yoga Camp cm workshop that started on 17th June, 2026. Mr. Sahadev Mahato acted as the trainer for the camp.
Despite rainy weather, more than 30 NCC cadets and NSS Volunteers of the college and from Sadiya Govt. H. S. School also participated in the event.

The Extension Activity Cell of Sadiya College successfully organized an Art Competition today (June 19, 2026) for the students of schools and colleges across Chapakhowa, held in loving memory of the Late Artist Hemchandra Gogoi (Jantu).
The event commenced with a touching remembrance and homage ceremony led by Dr. Bhupen Chutia, Principal of Sadiya College. Faculty members, staff, college students, and talented participants from various local institutions gathered to pay their respects at the College Library. Mrs. Manjula Baruah, College Librarian and Joint Convenor, Extension Activity Cell, Sadiya College, moderated the event and thanked everyone for their presence.
With over 40 talented participants showcasing their skills, our esteemed judges—Kamal Adhikari, Rohim Gogoi, and Probhat Buragohain—had the tough task of selecting the top three art sketches.
