Respected Teachers, Parents, Guardians, Past pupils, Well-wishers and my dear students,
Cordial greetings from St. Thomas High School.
Every one of us know Mr. Amrit Gogoi who has been serving in our institution for nearly 21 years. He has taught many of your children. And practically all the past pupils will have been taught by him as he was teaching in the institution right from the time our first batch of students appeared for HSLC in 2001.
At present he is in difficulty. It was in 2021 that he was diagnosed with a type of blood cancer (Multiple Myeloma). From 2021 he has been undergoing treatment at CMC, Vellore. As part of the treatment, he had to undergo bone marrow transplant. As bone marrow transplant is a very expensive treatment he is in need of urgent financial support.
I would exhort everyone who reads this message to come to his help generously. I would request everyone to help Mr. Amrit Gogoi in these moments pain and suffering.
Those who wish to contribute can directly deposit into his account or those who wish to send it they may send the amount with your child to the school on 07.09.2023 (Thursday). Whatever you contribute will be put together by our teachers and deposited into the account of Mr. Amrit.
There is no compulsion or force in taking part in this collection for the sake of Mr. Amrit. It is totally voluntary.
Mr. Amrit Gogoi is in the ICU in CMC Vellore as of now.

dear students , you are about conclude your holidays. I am sure you are eager to come back , we have given a kind of face lift to the school which you will notice when you come back , we are getting ready to welcome you to the school. On Ist of August we will resume the classes , which you are already informed , I hereby inform you that students who are absent on the first day will have to pay Rs.50 of fine, most of the teachers will be giving out the papers on the first day itself. Conclude your vacation well. Thank you. Also do not forget to bring the contribution towards Jubilee celebration from your parents. regards to your parents and dear ones at home. Thank you .
