The Institute of Engineering & Technology Bhaddal Technical Campus, Ropar was established in July 1998 by the Kandi Friends Educational Trust under the dynamic leadership of great visionary Revered Er. The Technical Campus offers Bachelor's Degree courses in 6 disciplines of Engineering, Architecture, Computer Applications and Business Administration and Postgraduate's Degree in 2 disciplines of E

ngineering, Computer Applications and Business Administration. All the Programs of the Technical Campus have been approved by All India Council of Technical Education (AICTE), Council of Architecture New Delhi, Govt. The Campus is spread over an area of 50 acres in a lush green pollution free environment. The Campus has Six complete academic blocks, Workshops, Central computerized Library with air-conditioned reading room, 16 Mbps leased line internet connectivity, Canteen, Hostels with Mess Facility (separately for boys and girls), Faculty apartments, Guest house, Medical Centre, Computer Centre, Reprographic Centre and Wi-Fi Campus and Hostels.

In an effort to provide career guidance to Matric & +2 students from Govt. SS School-Behrampur Zimidara & GSS School- Mianpur, a career counseling session was organized at IET BHADDAL TECHNICAL CMAPUS, ROPAR on 15th Feb, 2023.
The career counseling session aimed to provide students with valuable information about potential career paths and to help them make decisions about their future. Representatives from various departments of the college, including engineering, business, pharmacy, hotel management, were present to answer students' questions and provide insights into the various programs available.
The event kicked off with a presentation by the college's career counseling department, which provided an overview to students of the various resources available including course details , sports, cultural events , and placements services. Following the presentation, students were given the opportunity to interact with the representatives from different departments and learn more about specific fields of their interest. The presentation was given by college counseling team Mr. Nileshwar Tak, and Dr. Kanchan Sharma.
On this occasion, Campus-Director Dr. S. S. Bindra said, “Such Career counseling events can help students identify their interests, strengths, and values, which can be useful in choosing a career. I would encourage other school authorities who are interested in attending such career session contact our counseling team.” he added.
Ms Anju, Mr. Rajesh Kumar from GSSS-Mianpur & Mr. Bhupinder Singh , Ms. Pooja from GSSS-Behrampur were also present.
Overall, the career counseling session was a success, with college hoping to continue to provide such valuable resources and opportunities for other students in the future.

Three day seminar on 'Union Budget 2023-24' concluded at IET Bhaddal, Ropar

IET BHADDAL TECHNICAL CAMPUS, ROPAR organized 3 days seminar on union budget 2023-24.
The main aim of this session was to enlighten the students on the significance and essence of the budget as a foundation of hope and inspiration to build a new India.
One day 1, College organized guest lecture talk on "Making & Analysis of Union Budget 2023-24‟ for students and staff. The speaker of the session was Mr. Raghav , Finance Officer.
He highlighted the “Black Budget”,‟Carrot and Stick Budget” and “Dreams Budget”. He caught the attention of the students by talking about the “halwa tradition‟ followed every year during discussions held for preparation of budget.

On second day , A Live telecast of Union Budget 2023-24 was organized for the college students & staff on 1st Feb ,2023. The students were acquainted with the classifications and new changes of the Budget.

On day 3, IET BHADDAL TECHNICAL CAMPUS organised post budget analysis of Union Budget 2023-24 .
Mr. Raghav highlighted the 7 priority area i.e. 'Saptrishi' of the budget. He emphasised that success of digital payments has to be replicated in agriculture sector.
Students also actively participated in the review and presented their views.
Dr. S.S. Bindra, Director-Campus appreciated the initiative for creating a collaborative learning platform to develop students understanding about the country's budget. He added that, with holistic growth of students in mind, IET BHADDAL would organise such sessions on regular basis.

The session turned out to be very interactive one.

The IET BHADDAL TECHNICAL CAMPUS , ROPAR organized an guest lecture talk on "Making & Analysis of Union Budget 2023-24‟, on 31st January 2023 at 02.00 pm for all students at the college . The speaker of the session was Mr. Raghav Sabharwal , Finance Officer, IET BHADDAL. College students along with other faculty attended the lecture making the session a great success.
The main aim of this session was to enlighten the students on the significance and essence of the budget as a foundation of hope and inspiration to build a new India. Mr. Raghav Sabharwal before getting into the analysis of the budget, layed out a base for the students and came up with a few interesting historical facts about the previously presented budgets. He also highlighted the “Black Budget”,‟Carrot and Stick Budget” and “Dreams Budget”. He caught the attention of the students by talking about the “halwa tradition‟ followed every year during discussions held for preparation of budget. The session included both the positives of the budget and the expectations unfulfilled. The lecture concluded with a question-and-answer session where students actively posed their queries to speaker.

The Ministry of Road Transport & Highways is observing the Road Safety Week from January 11th to 17th, 2023, under “Swachhata Pakhwada”, to propagate the cause of safer roads for all.
This is a crucial step in light of the rising number of deaths from accidents.
𝑻𝒉𝒆 𝒕𝒉𝒆𝒎𝒆 𝒇𝒐𝒓 𝒕𝒉𝒆 𝒚𝒆𝒂𝒓 𝟐𝟎𝟐𝟑 𝒊𝒔 ‘𝑺𝒂𝒅𝒂𝒌 𝑺𝒖𝒓𝒂𝒌𝒔𝒉𝒂 𝑱𝒆𝒆𝒗𝒂𝒏 𝑹𝒂𝒌𝒔𝒉𝒂’.
On the occasion of Road Safety Week in India, 𝑰𝑬𝑻 𝑩𝑯𝑨𝑫𝑫𝑨𝑳 𝑻𝑬𝑪𝑯𝑵𝑰𝑪𝑨𝑳 𝑪𝑨𝑴𝑷𝑼𝑺, 𝑹𝑶𝑷𝑨𝑹 has taken an initiative to promote awareness about road safety and share tips on how to prevent road accidents.
Objective of this seminar is to celebrate Road Safety Week. Students, staff members and institute transport staff were made aware about various Road Safety measures to be taken for safe driving on the road.
On the occasion, Campus Director 𝑫𝒓. 𝑺.𝑺. 𝑩𝒊𝒏𝒅𝒓𝒂 said that road safety is a collective responsibility. He advised the commercial vehicle drivers to avoid over speeding and use of mobile phones while driving. He said that behavioral changes and positive attitude is must to avoid road accidents and save precious human lives. He added “ Let’s pledge to obey all the traffic rules set by the government for the safety of both drivers and pedestrians on the road and also offer timely help to accident victims. “

IET BHADDAL TECHNICAL CAMPUS , ROPAR organized Career Counseling Fair at Maharaja Ranjit Singh Bagh , Ropar

Career decisions play a pivotal role in shaping the future growth and development of students. In today’s environment of multiple options, knowing about choices available helps students in their decision-making process.
IET BHADDAL TECHNICAL CAMPUS ,ROPAR participated in 3 days(12th -14th Jan, 2023) Lohri fair organised by District Administration .The Fest was organised at Maharahja Ranjit Singh Bagh, Rupnagar where college put up a stall of information about the various courses. The objective was to help the students to design their higher studies and exploring a range of options that can open new vistas for them. Crafted for class X, XII students, this fest aimed to sensitize the students and parents of class XI as well. The visitors witnessed such fest that focused on providing a multifarious perspective of the various career fields.
Ms. Barinderjit Kaur, Ms. Sarabdeep Kaur, Mr. Hardeep Singh, Ms. Samrity and their team guided visitors in career choosing path after X, XII. They also encouraged students on choosing the field they were interested in rather than allowing somebody else to govern it.

Campus Director Dr. S.S. Bindra appreciated the efforts of District Administration. He said that in today’s scenario students remain in dilemma while opting for a course and most of the time they hover about the outcome of pursuing course. So, these kinds of career counseling programmes are beneficial for the students. He added that students must take admissions according to their interest and job intake in the market. He appreciated the efforts of the team under whose guidance this Fest became a successful event.
