Columbus Public School Students Shine at 𝐒𝐭. 𝐉𝐨𝐬𝐞𝐩𝐡’𝐬 𝐂𝐨𝐥𝐥𝐞𝐠𝐞 𝐌𝐔𝐍, 𝐍𝐚𝐢𝐧𝐢𝐭𝐚𝐥 on 18 & 19 April 2026: The delegates of Columbus Public School brought great pride to their alma mater with an exceptional performance at the prestigious MUN Conference hosted by St. Joseph’s College. The two-day event witnessed the enthusiastic participation of more than 10 reputed schools and over 300 students from across the region. 👩‍🎓👨‍🎓

Demonstrating remarkable diplomacy, confidence, and critical thinking, Adwaith Hari earned a Verbal Mention in the Lok Sabha Committee, while Palak Saini secured a Verbal Mention in the AIPPM Committee. Adding further distinction, Divyanshi Bhatt achieved a High Commendation in the Lok Sabha Committee for her compelling portrayal of Narendra Modi, impressing the Executive Board with her in-depth research, eloquence, and commendable parliamentary conduct. 💫

Earth Day was thoughtfully and enthusiastically celebrated in our school, transforming the day into a meaningful learning experience for all. The young learners participated with great zeal, presenting graceful dance performances, expressive poems, and impactful acts centered around the theme “Save Trees, Save Water.” Through their heartfelt expressions, they highlighted pressing environmental concerns and emphasized the urgent need to conserve our precious natural resources.

The celebration went beyond mere performances—it served as an informative platform where students understood the importance of sustainable living, environmental balance, and their individual role in protecting the planet. The innocence and sincerity reflected in their presentations made the message even more powerful and inspiring.

The event beautifully instilled a sense of responsibility and awareness among students, encouraging them to become conscious citizens who value and protect nature. It was truly a step towards nurturing young minds to build a greener, healthier future.

The Inter-House Hindi Poem Recitation Competition for Classes I to V, conducted on 22 April 2026, was a thrilling and vibrant celebration of expression and linguistic beauty. The young participants captivated the audience with their confident stage presence, clear diction, and expressive delivery. Representing their houses with enthusiasm, each child brought poems to life—be it the energy of patriotic verses, the charm of nature, or the depth of moral themes.

The event was graciously judged by Ms. Ivy Singh and Ms. Megha Bhardwaj, whose presence added encouragement and value to the occasion. The stage resonated with rhythm, emotion, and creativity, reflecting the budding oratory skills and deep connection of students with Hindi poetry. The event truly highlighted how gracefully the art of poetry is blossoming in young voices.

𝐈𝐧𝐭𝐞𝐫-𝐇𝐨𝐮𝐬𝐞 𝐄𝐧𝐠𝐥𝐢𝐬𝐡 𝐏𝐨𝐞𝐦 𝐑𝐞𝐜𝐢𝐭𝐚𝐭𝐢𝐨𝐧 𝐂𝐨𝐦𝐩𝐞𝐭𝐢𝐭𝐢𝐨𝐧 🎤 🏆

As part of the 𝐂𝐨-𝐂𝐮𝐫𝐫𝐢𝐜𝐮𝐥𝐚𝐫 𝐀𝐜𝐭𝐢𝐯𝐢𝐭𝐢𝐞𝐬 (𝐂𝐂𝐀), a Poem Recitation Competition was organized on 𝟏𝟖 𝐀𝐩𝐫𝐢𝐥 𝟐𝟎𝟐𝟔 for the students of 𝐂𝐥𝐚𝐬𝐬𝐞𝐬 𝐕𝐈 𝐭𝐨 𝐗𝐈𝐈, providing a vibrant and intellectually enriching platform to showcase their talent, confidence, and love for poetry. The event aimed at fostering an appreciation for poetic expression while enhancing students’ speaking and presentation skills.💫

The competition featured a wide range of engaging and thought-provoking themes, including 𝐍𝐚𝐭𝐮𝐫𝐞, 𝐏𝐚𝐭𝐫𝐢𝐨𝐭𝐢𝐬𝐦, 𝐄𝐧𝐯𝐢𝐫𝐨𝐧𝐦𝐞𝐧𝐭, 𝐃𝐫𝐞𝐚𝐦𝐬, 𝐋𝐢𝐟𝐞 𝐋𝐞𝐬𝐬𝐨𝐧𝐬, 𝐇𝐮𝐦𝐚𝐧 𝐕𝐚𝐥𝐮𝐞𝐬. The participants displayed remarkable confidence, eloquence, and emotional depth as they recited poems with impressive clarity, voice modulation, and expression. Each performance reflected not only linguistic proficiency but also a deep understanding of the themes, making the event both engaging and inspiring. The stage resonated with powerful words that evoked a sense of national pride, environmental awareness, and moral consciousness.✨

The competition was judged by two esteemed panels: 𝐌𝐫𝐬. 𝐈𝐯𝐲 𝐒𝐢𝐧𝐠𝐡, 𝐌𝐬. 𝐑𝐞𝐠𝐢𝐧𝐚 𝐒𝐢𝐦𝐨𝐧 𝐟𝐨𝐫 𝐂𝐥𝐚𝐬𝐬𝐞𝐬 𝐕𝐈–𝐕𝐈𝐈𝐈, and 𝐃𝐫. 𝐊𝐚𝐦𝐞𝐬𝐡 𝐌𝐢𝐭𝐭𝐚𝐥, 𝐌𝐬. 𝐑𝐨𝐬𝐡𝐢 𝐊𝐚𝐤𝐤𝐚𝐫 𝐟𝐨𝐫 𝐂𝐥𝐚𝐬𝐬𝐞𝐬 𝐈𝐗–𝐗𝐈𝐈. The judges evaluated the participants on parameters such as pronunciation, clarity, expression, confidence, and overall presentation. Their insightful observations and constructive feedback added immense value to the learning experience, encouraging students to refine their recitation and public speaking skills. ✨

Such activities play a vital role in nurturing creativity, communication skills, and self-expression among students, while also building confidence and appreciation for literature. The event concluded on a note of appreciation, recognizing the efforts and talents of all participants, and proved to be a delightful and successful CCA activity for both participants and the audience alike. ✨

The young artists poured their dreams onto paper, blending vibrant shades into magical scenes bursting with innocence, wonder, and originality. Every crayon danced across the page, and every brushstroke sparkled with imagination, turning simple drawings into extraordinary masterpieces.
The atmosphere was alive with excitement, laughter, and enthusiasm as young प्रतिभाएँ (talents) proudly showcased their artistic brilliance. The air shimmered with creativity as each child expressed their thoughts in the most colourful and imaginative ways. The competition not only celebrated art but also nurtured confidence, encouraged self-expression, and filled every heart with happiness.
It was truly a beautiful canvas where creativity met joy, and imagination knew no bounds.

The Kindergarten wing celebrated a vibrant and refreshing Fruit Party, turning the day into a colourful blend of fun, learning, and healthy living. Little ones brought a delightful variety of fruits from home, filling the atmosphere with freshness, excitement, and cheerful energy. These fruits were joyfully combined at school to create a delicious fruit chaat, making the experience even more special and engaging. 🍎🍇🍌
All the children sat together and relished the tasty treat with great enthusiasm, sharing smiles, laughter, and moments of togetherness. It was truly a heartwarming scene of joy and bonding.
Teachers thoughtfully explained the importance of eating fruits and maintaining a healthy lifestyle, helping young minds understand the value of good nutrition. The school takes great pride in honouring its distinguished alumnus, Mr. Anshul Gupta (SSCE 2013), who was felicitated as 'Noted Alumni' during the 29th School Foundation Day celebrations held on 7th April 2026. The honour was bestowed by the school management in recognition of his remarkable professional growth and achievements.

Anshul has established himself as a dedicated professional in the field of Purchase and Supply Chain Management, with over nine years of experience in procurement, vendor management, and inventory control, particularly in the electrical manufacturing sector.

He began his professional journey with Havells India Ltd., where he progressed from Graduate Engineer Trainee to Senior Engineer (Purchase), showing steady growth and commitment. He later served as Assistant Manager – Purchase at Legrand India (Switchgear Division), where he made valuable contributions to procurement operations. Currently, Anshul is working as Senior Manager – Operations at Instant Procurement Services Pvt. Ltd.

Anshul’s journey from a Science student at Columbus to a successful industry professional is truly inspiring. His achievements reflect hard work, perseverance, and a commitment to excellence.
