The same goes on taking a stand for all it has been, and everything you're willing to make it on the roads ahead. The torch indeed is heavy, needless to say it has to shine brighter on years to come to light up new pathways with better prospects and higher benchmarks.

Get ready to witness the congregation of the brightest minds of the nation. 9th Edition of NIT Conclave is here at NIT Rourkela.

Every once in a while an existing problem with a new idea and the existing technology leads to innovation. Brace yourselves as the various NITs across the country assemble for the three-day mega event from 23rd to 25th of August 2019 - The 9th Edition of NIT Conclave at NIT Rourkela. Various events such as Hackathon, Startup Hunt, Institute Presentation and various other too will be held in the span of three days.

To add to the glory we have with us Smt. Aparajita Sarangi, Member of Parliament as the Chief Guest and also Sohrab Sitaram, Cofounder at Keventers. This three-day conference is the platform for all NITs to come together and ideate for technological advancement of the nation.

The definition of hard work and dedication is what defines her, social good is what she works for. Aparajita Sarangi is a member of the BJP (Bhartiya Janata Party) and an MP from Bhubaneswar. Not much seems to have changed since she left the Indian Administrative Services, the same zeal for serving the country continues to be her priority. She was awarded the Shakti Samman in 2012. On any given day she’s either at a city park, or a slum, or is on a padayatra in the villages around Bhubaneswar, such is her dedication towards her work.

It gives us immense pleasure and a great honor to announce Aparajita Sarangi as our chief guest for the 9th edition of NIT CONCLAVE.
