MIRG, the 3D simulation team of NITRRSSG participated in our first-ever international competition, virtually, the Offenburg Tournament. We are happy to announce that we ranked 10th in this tournament. A year ago, three pre-final years saw a dream of creating a research society in the domains of AI and robotics and now that dream has been realised. Our learning curve is growing steadily as visible from the scoreboard since we were able to demonstrate similar scores in many matches. Our next target is Robocup 2021 scheduled in June 2021 in Bordeaux France, where we would be again testing our research so far.

Today we would have been in Bordeaux, France and registering for the RoboSoccer 2020- 3D Simulation Leauge, but unfortunately, Covid-19 has brought a lot of things to halt, RoboCup 2020 and our journey to Bordeaux, France is among them. This halt is really disheartening for us and other teams who have qualified for the event.
“The greater the obstacle, the more glory in overcoming it.” Gearing up for the online 3D Simulation Leauge to be organized by RoboCup 2020 in September 2020.
