This jaw dropping hotel's construction is due to end in 2015.
Songjiang sustainable hotel - Institution of Civil Engineers
This luxury hotel located in Shanghai, China, is being built in an abandoned water-filled quarry (or pit) and will have 19-floors, 380-rooms and a visitor centre. The British civil engineering company that came up with the design is also responsible for its construction.
