My First Ramp Walk Competition – Cartoon Theme
Mount Litera Zee School, Roorkee, organized an Inter-Class “My First Ramp Walk Competition” for Nursery to UKG on the theme Cartoon Characters.
The tiny tots dressed as their favorite characters and confidently walked the ramp, spreading joy with their cute performances. The event boosted their confidence and creativity, making it a fun-filled and memorable experience for all.

*Labour Day Special Assembly*
Mount Litera Zee School, Roorkee, conducted a special assembly on Labour Day to express gratitude towards our helping hands. The program highlighted the dignity of labour and the importance of every worker in our daily lives.
As a token of appreciation, badges were presented to our support staff, acknowledging their dedication and hard work. The assembly was a heartfelt tribute, instilling respect and gratitude among students for all helping hands.

A Capacity Building Programme on Value Education was successfully conducted on *1st May 2026* , focusing on *strengthening value-based teaching practices* among educators. The session began with the ceremonial lighting of the lamp, symbolizing knowledge and enlightenment. Esteemed resource persons, *Ms. Upasana Yadav and Mr. Pankaj Munjal* , led the workshop with their insightful perspectives and engaging approach.

The programme was highly interactive, with teachers actively participating in group discussions and collaborative activities that emphasized empathy, ethics, emotional intelligence, and responsible behavior in the classroom. The facilitators encouraged reflection and practical application, making the session both meaningful and impactful.

A menstrual hygiene awareness program was conducted for the girls of Grades 5 to 8 to educate them about the importance of personal hygiene and overall well-being.* The resource person for the session was Dr. Sonali Shahi, MBBS, MS (Obs & Gynae), Consultant Gynaecologist at Rishi Hospital, Roorkee, with 12 years of experience in the field of women’s health.
She has previously served as a Senior Consultant at St. Joseph Hospital, Civil Lines, Roorkee, Government Medical College Haldwani, and Medical College Srinagar, bringing with her vast expertise and experience.
During the session, she shared valuable insights on menstrual health, hygiene practices, and the physical as well as emotional changes during adolescence. The session was highly informative and interactive, where students were encouraged to ask questions and clear their doubts in a comfortable environment.

Dr. Shahi also emphasized breaking myths and taboos surrounding menstruation and highlighted the importance of maintaining proper hygiene for a healthy lifestyle. The program was truly enlightening and beneficial for the students.”
