We are glad to announce that the Photography Section is conducting an Advanced photography workshop during Drishya hosted by Mr. Anil Risal Singh, Ex President, Federation of Indian Photography.

About the speaker:
Mr. Anil Risal Singh, a graduate of Lucknow Christia College, Done post-graduation from Lucknow University in 1976 and then Diploma in Photography from Institute of Science & Technology, Mumbai. Widely travelled and exhibited my photographic images throughout the world, work in personal & institutional collections at home & abroad. He has been the ex-president of Federation of Indian Photography. He has been given foreign grants and has won over 250 national and international awards.

Hope you are doing great!. Photography Section IIT Roorkee is back with its annual photo exhibition "Drishya".
On the occasion of 175 years of IITR, We invite you to witness reality through our lens. This time it's gonna be an exhibition cm sale where you can buy the photos you love.
Date: 3-5 May
Venue: SAC Ground Floor
We'll also be having a series of workshops, photo walks and a photo booth, open for IITR junta.

After an overwhelming response and a long interview process of more than a hundred probables, we made many tough decisions as there were so many good pictures.

We heartily CONGRATULATE everyone who made it to the team and is listed above. To the ones who couldn't and are really passionate about photography, we have various events throughout the year for you to be a part of and show us that we were wrong.

Results are out!!

We received an overwhelming response in our photography competition with over 160 responses and around 600 photos submitted. It was quite hard to select the winners but yes here we are with the winners and special mentions to some of the best photos (as they were not exactly landscape).

He started photography and videography here at IITR . He also has a YouTube channel where he puts up vlogs and has shared his journey at IITR.

Alongside the workshop, he will also be judging the entries for the Landscape Photography Competition.
For participating in the competition, you'll have to fill the form below and attach the link with two best landscape photographs clicked by you. Top contestants from UG (1y, 2y), PG and PhD will be recruited to the section directly. The deadline for submission of photos is Sunday, 6th February 11:59 PM.
