From Classroom Learning to Parliamentary Insights!

Students of the Quantum School of Law, Quantum University, Roorkee, visited the Parliament of India, New Delhi, gaining first-hand insights into India's parliamentary democracy.

From exploring the Lok Sabha and Rajya Sabha chambers to understanding legislative procedures and witnessing the historic Samvidhan Sadan, the visit connected classroom learning with the practical functioning of democratic institutions.

With 46 students participating, the educational visit offered a valuable opportunity to deepen their understanding of constitutional principles, governance, and the responsibilities of future legal professionals.

Organized by Velocity – Quantum University Gaming & Game Development Club, in collaboration with Codex Club, the tournament brought together gaming enthusiasts for an engaging competitive esports experience.

From intense group matches to the thrilling final stage, participants showcased their tactical skills, coordination, adaptability, and competitive spirit. 🏆

The Department of Mechanical Engineering, Quantum University celebrated Vishwakarma Puja at the Mechanical Workshop on 17 September 2026, with reverence and enthusiasm.

The celebration honoured Lord Vishwakarma, revered as the divine architect and a symbol of engineering, craftsmanship, creativity, and technical excellence. Faculty members, technical staff, and students came together to offer prayers for the safety and proper functioning of workshop machinery and equipment, as well as for knowledge, innovation, professional growth, and success.

⚙️🦾 Designing for People, Not Just Machines!

The Department of Mechanical Engineering, Quantum University organized an insightful session on “Ergonomic Design in Mechanical Engineering”, highlighting the importance of putting human comfort, safety, usability, and efficiency at the heart of engineering design.

Students explored how ergonomic principles can be applied to machines, tools, workstations, and industrial environments, with discussions covering human-machine interaction, posture, workplace layout, manual handling, anthropometric considerations, fatigue reduction, and injury prevention.

Through interactive discussions and real-world industrial examples, students gained practical insights into creating mechanical systems that work better for both people and performance.

क्वांटम यूनिवर्सिटी, रुड़की में 14 सितंबर 2026 को हिंदी दिवस – अनुराग’26 का आयोजन मीडिया अध्ययन विभाग एवं मानविकी एवं सामाजिक विज्ञान विभाग द्वारा संयुक्त रूप से किया गया।

इस अवसर पर प्रो. दिनेश चंद्र शास्त्री, वेद विभागाध्यक्ष, गुरुकुल कांगड़ी (डीम्ड टू बी यूनिवर्सिटी), हरिद्वार एवं पूर्व कुलपति, उत्तराखंड संस्कृत विश्वविद्यालय, हरिद्वार, मुख्य अतिथि के रूप में उपस्थित रहे।

Quantum University proudly celebrates another remarkable achievement as Team Shaktiyug secured the First Position in ‘Paridhanika – Fashion Show’ at Tooryanaad 2026, a prestigious national-level cultural event organized by MA NIT Bhopal.

Competing on the theme “इतिहास के अमर अध्याय” (Immortal Chapters of History), Team Shaktiyug brought significant chapters of Indian history to life through powerful costumes, characterization, storytelling, stage presence, and cultural expression.

The BharatCodeFest Hackathon, organized under the Indian Knowledge System (IKS) initiative at Quantum University, Roorkee, brought together first-year and senior students from diverse disciplines on 12 September 2026 for an exciting celebration of coding, creativity, culture, and innovation.

Working in teams, participants developed technology-driven solutions across areas such as AI for social impact, sustainable technology, digital safety, and open innovation, while integrating the principles and perspectives of India’s rich knowledge traditions.

With guidance from faculty mentors and industry experts, students explored ideas through technical feasibility, practical problem-solving, teamwork, and cultural integration. 🧠🚀

🔧💻 From Microcontrollers to Real-World Innovation!

Quantum University hosted the Workshop on Embedded Systems Design using ARM Cortex-M Microcontrollers, providing students from ECE, EE, and CSE with valuable hands-on exposure to the world of embedded systems.

Students explored ARM Cortex-M architecture, microcontroller programming, GPIO, timers, interrupts, ADC, PWM, sensor and actuator interfacing, along with communication protocols such as UART, SPI, and I²C.

The practical learning experience encouraged students to apply engineering concepts, develop and test microcontroller-based solutions, troubleshoot problems, and strengthen their skills for projects in embedded systems, IoT, automation, and industry-oriented applications.
