A Day Filled with Sparkle & Sunshine!

Today, the Kindergarten students celebrated the Sparkling Reciters Competition along with Yellow Colour Day, creating a joyful and vibrant atmosphere.
Our little stars confidently showcased their recitation skills, expressions and voice modulation while embracing the cheerful spirit of Yellow Day.
The celebration was a beautiful blend of learning, creativity, confidence and happiness, leaving everyone with wonderful memories.

Educational Visit to Rashtrapati Bhavan -23.09.2026

Delhi Public School Roorkee organized an educational visit to Rashtrapati Bhavan for our students, in collaboration with the Vichar Vimarsh Club, Shri Aurobindo College, Delhi.

Inside Rashtrapati Bhavan, a guide accompanied the group, explaining the history and significance behind each section, which made the visit feel far more engaging and meaningful than just a walk-through. Students explored the Darbar Hall and Ashok Mandap, learning about their ceremonial importance, and walked through the elegant guest rooms named after Indian rivers — Tungabhadra, Saryu, and Damodar.
The museum complex was a highlight, especially the Tribal Museum, showcasing India's rich tribal art and culture, and the Gifts Museum, displaying gifts received by Indian Presidents from around the world — each with an interesting story shared by the guide.
Overall, it was a memorable and enriching day that gave students a real, close-up understanding of the history and dignity of the Presidency.

Building Teamwork, One Pass at a Time!

Our little builders of Kindergarteners learned the true meaning of teamwork with the fun-filled 'Pass The Ball' game. More than just a game, it was a lesson in patience, cooperation, sharing and saying "We Can Do It Together!"

Today, our children sat together in a big circle of friendship and passed the ball with love, care and a bright smile They learned that just like builders pass bricks to build a strong tower, we too must help and support each other to build strong friendships. When the ball dropped, no one laughed everyone together cheered "We Can Do It Together!" and tried again.🤝

It was a joyful moment to see our tiny tots listening, waiting for their turn, encouraging their friends and celebrating every successful pass. Truly, when we build together, we grow together!

We are delighted to share that DPS Volleyball Team performed exceptionally well and secured the Second Position in the Volleyball Tournament organized under Khel Mahakumbh at Buggawala Village.

The following players represented DPS in the competition:

6. Spresher

All the players demonstrated excellent team spirit, hard work, discipline, and sportsmanship throughout the competition. We are proud of this achievement, which is the result of the players’ dedication, teamwork, and sincere efforts.

🌸 संस्कृत सप्ताह समारोह | संस्कृतमय प्रार्थना सभा 🌸

“संस्कृतं संस्कृतेर्मूलम्”

संस्कृत सप्ताह 25 अगस्त से 31 अगस्त 2026 तक मनाने के क्रम में दिल्ली पब्लिक स्कूल, रुड़की में एक विशेष संस्कृतमय प्रार्थना सभा का आयोजन किया गया। इस विशेष सभा का संचालन एवं प्रस्तुतीकरण कक्षा XII-D के विद्यार्थियों द्वारा किया गया।

सभा के दौरान विद्यार्थियों ने संस्कृत भाषा एवं संस्कृति की समृद्ध परंपरा को विविध प्रस्तुतियों के माध्यम से जीवंत किया। विद्यार्थियों द्वारा संस्कृत गीत, संस्कृत श्लोक, संस्कृत भाषण तथा अन्य सांस्कृतिक प्रस्तुतियाँ प्रस्तुत की गईं।

इस आयोजन का उद्देश्य विद्यार्थियों में संस्कृत भाषा के प्रति रुचि, गौरव एवं सम्मान की भावना विकसित करना तथा भारतीय ज्ञान-परंपरा और संस्कृति से उन्हें जोड़ना था।

विद्यार्थियों की आत्मविश्वासपूर्ण एवं प्रभावशाली प्रस्तुतियों ने सभा को संस्कृतमय और प्रेरणादायी बना दिया। यह आयोजन विद्यालय में संस्कृत भाषा के प्रति जागरूकता एवं प्रेम को प्रोत्साहित करने की दिशा में एक सार्थक प्रयास रहा।

🌟 Little Hands, Big Teamwork! 🌟

The Kindergarteners enjoyed a fun-filled and meaningful activity, “Magic of Sharing,” where they discovered that learning becomes even more joyful when we learn together!

The little learners worked in pairs and groups to solve picture puzzles. They searched for the right puzzle pieces, matched them with the flashcards and helped their friends complete the pictures. 🤝🧩

The activity encouraged children to share, cooperate, communicate and support one another. Their enthusiastic participation showed how teamwork can turn a simple task into a wonderful learning experience.
