The Green Week assembly from 20th to 24th April, on the theme โ€œSmall Steps, Green Earth,โ€ helped Kindergarten children learn basic environmental care in a fun way. The teacher explained the concepts of Reduce, Reuse, and Recycle using simple objects, and the children shared examples from home. A teachersโ€™ skit, โ€œThe Little Seedโ€™s Journey,โ€ showed how a seed grows with soil, sun, and water, linking it to caring for the Earth. The assembly ended with a gratitude message to the Earth, helping children understand that small actions can keep it clean and green.

๐Ÿธ๐Ÿฆ†๐Ÿ˜๐Ÿฐ MOVE TO THE ZOO CREW! ๐Ÿพ

Our LKG & UKG stars turned into little animals today! ๐ŸŒŸ

From hopping like frogs ๐Ÿธ to waddling like ducks ๐Ÿฆ†, stomping like elephants ๐Ÿ˜, and jumping like rabbits ๐Ÿฐ โ€” our Zoo Crew was full of energy and giggles!

This fun-filled Animal Movement activity helped our tiny tots build strength, balance, coordination, and body awareness โ€” all while learning how different animals move.

Highlights of the day:
โœ… Frog jumps for leg power
โœ… Duck walks for balance
โœ… Elephant stomps for strong, heavy steps
โœ… Rabbit hops for agility
โœ… The session ended with The Great Animal Race ๐Ÿ

The takeaway: Learning is best when itโ€™s playful! Our little ones didnโ€™t just move โ€” they roared, laughed, and discovered the joy of fitness through imitation. ๐Ÿ’ช

Because at DPS Roorkee, we believe:
โ€œMove the body, grow the mind!โ€ ๐Ÿง
