Greetings from the CFOS 2022 Organizing team,
One of the most attractive and unique event of this program is the Science outreach event. This event is specially for young students with the focus on several research activities initiated in the last decade.
As a social responsibility initiative, CFOS-2022 organising team has
planned an entire session on 4th Dec, 2022 for the science outreach program for young minds with a theme, "Let's Talk Chemistry: An Outreach Event".
Prof. Brindaban Chandra Ranu will deliver a popular science lecture on 4th Dec, 2022 followed by a group discussion between eminent scientists, academicians and the bright young minds.

In order to forge new bridges and foster better understanding between academia and industry, the top most people from both domains have joined hands for a plenary discussion to be held on 1st December at 4.00 pm during CFOS 2022. Padma Shri Prof V K Singh will moderate the discussion and will participate in the discussion.

It is our immense pleasure to inform all of you that on the occasion of 175 years of IIT Roorkee, Department of Chemistry, IIT Roorkee in partnership with Royal Society of Chemistry will be organizing the 2nd National Conference on CONTEMPORARY FACETS IN ORGANIC SYNTHESIS during 01 - 04 Dec at IIT Roorkee.
The inaugural function of this auspicious event will begin at 9 AM on 1st Dec at MAC Auditorium.

This conference will be of interest to the synthetic organic community involving early career scientists, faculty from universities and research institutions, PG and Ph.D. students, and people from Industries.
A conference of this magnitude tends to be a great forum to network and build strong collaborations within the organic synthetic community and related interdisciplinary sciences. Such a gathering would strengthen understanding and mutual appreciation between the academia and industry.
