SAPTA SHAKTI SANGAM celebrated at DONYI POLO VIDYA NIKETAN, JIA
JIA ( ROING), Jan, 17: The Sapta Shakti Sangam , was successfully organised at Donyi Polo Vidya Niketan, Jia run by Arunachal Shiksha Vikas Samiti (ASVS) affiliated with Vidya Bharti Akhil Bharatiya Shiksha Sansthan today.
The program brought together approx. 50 participants reperesenting various communities of the district making it one of the most vibrant and engaging gatherings dedicated to women and their vital role in society.
The event commenced with the lighting of the ceremonial lamp, a traditional symbol of enlightenment and wisdom. The ceremony was led by Chief Guest Smti. Namrata Bhatt Tiwari ( APCS), SDO, Parbuk, Roing, Guest of Honour Smti. Purnima Kening, GPM, Jia-I ( Roing), Er. Oder Gao (State Coordinator, Sapta Shakti Sangam), and Smti. Vasudha Bhide (Principal SVN Mahadevpur).
The guests were felicitated by the school staff, the program highlighted the importance of women empowerment, maternal strength, and social values. The enlightening words of our esteemed guests motivated everyone present.
Following the lamp-lighting the atmosphere grew serene and spiritually uplifting with Shloka recitation by students. This was followed by a melodious welcome Matri Shakti song presented by SVN students Mahadevpur expressing respect and gratitude towards mothers and acknowledging their integral role in nuturing families and shaping society.

Addressing the gathering, State Co-ordinator Er. Oder Gao (State Cordinator Sapta Shakti) elaborated on the objectives of Sapta Shakti Sangam, stressing the need to empower women through awareness, education, and active engagement in social initiatives. She highlighted how nurturing strong families begin with empowering mothers, who serve as the first educators and guiding force for their children.
The keynote address was delivered by Smt. Vasudha Bhide, Principal, Saraswati Vidya Niketan, Mahadevpur who inspired mothers with her insightful reflections on the transformative power of women in society. She emphasized that when mothers are empowered, families become stronger, communities grow healthier, and the nation progresses. Her speech resonated deeply with the audience, reinforcing the central message of the event.
Chief Guest Smti. Namrata Bhatt Tiwari (APCS), SDO, Parbuk also addressed the participants, highlighting the crucial role of women in building a well-civilized and self-reliant district. She encouraged mothers to continue contributing actively to social welfare, personal development, and community progress.
Adding an element of fun and engagement, a lively Quiz Competition for Mothers was conducted, which saw enthusiastic participation. The quiz not only encouraged learning but also highlighted the confidence, awareness, and active involvement of mothers in educational and community activities.
On this occasion, the school honoured a distinguised mother with the " Vishisht Mata Ka Samman” to Smti. Jing Longkam in recognition of their exemplary contribution to family, society and value based upbringing.
The program highlighted the strength of women, the importance of maternal power and the vital role of women in nation-building.
The diginitaries addressed the gathering and shared inspiring views on women empowerment and social values.
The event concluded with heartfelt appreciation from the attendees. Many mothers expressed renewed motivation to support their children’s education and contribute positively to society. The Sapta Shakti Sangam successfully reaffirmed the message that empowered mothers create empowered families, empowered daughters, and a stronger society.
