In a serene yet vibrant celebration H D PUBLIC SCHOOL, BALAND commemorated the auspicious occasion of Buddha Purnima and acknowledged Gautam Buddha 's teachings on April 30, 2026.

The activities brought together the students, teachers and staff to reflect on the values of peace.

The teachers narrated the story of Siddharth's journey to Budhha.

Meditation sessions were special of the day !

Here nothing in the year is released without celebrating.
The students of V & VI prepared Thank-You-Card for their bus driver uncle. Girls and boys of VII & VIII prepared colourful presentation for the lady- helpers at school.
Collage of working people was prepared by IX. XI contributed their inputs in preparing gratitude wall.

X & XII displayed their respect for them through Nibandh Pratiyogita.

The entire school wished the helping hands with great respect and honour.

Chairman, Shri Jaipal Sigroha, congratulated them for their strong will and ability to work. He also thanked them for their efforts and input.

Last Saturday-Sunday, (25-26 April , 2026) 13 children from H D Public School, Baland, participated in the 38th Chess Championship 2026 held in Rohtak.
Kaushal (9th grade), Himank (8th grade), and Niksh*t (7th grade) secured third place. Kirti (9th grade) achieved the first position, while Kanika took the second position.
These five children have been selected to play at the state level.

The children were awarded prizes and brought pride to their village and school.
Chairman Jai Pal Sigroha expressed his happiness over the students' achievements and wished them success at the next level. He also praised the school coach, Balwan Singh, and encouraged him to continue providing excellent training to the children.
