Mother’s Day Celebration at Baba Banda Bahadur Public School

Baba Banda Bahadur Public School celebrated Mother’s Day with great enthusiasm, joy, and heartfelt emotions. The event witnessed the active participation of mothers and students, making the celebration truly memorable. The program began with the ceremonial lighting of the lamp before Goddess Saraswati by the school Principal, Mr. Salil Mehta, along with the respected mothers present on the occasion.

The event was beautifully presented by Zorawar Singh House, whose students mesmerized the audience with their wonderful performances. Various cultural presentations dedicated to mothers were showcased, including group dances, group songs, dramatic performances, and musical acts. The joint performances by mothers and their children were especially touching and received warm appreciation from everyone present.

To make the celebration more engaging, several fun-filled games and activities were organized for mothers, teachers, and students. Activities like Throw the Ring, IQ Round, Paste the Bindi, Pick the Ring with a Pin, and a Talent Hunt Round brought excitement and joy to the participants. Mothers were also given the honor of being judges for different competitions.

Students also displayed their creativity through Poster Making and Greeting Card Making competitions, which were judged by parents who appreciated the efforts and talent of the young participants.

On this special occasion, Principal Mr. Salil Mehta shared his thoughts, highlighting that a mother is the first teacher in a child’s life and the greatest symbol of love, sacrifice, and guidance.

The event concluded with heartfelt gratitude extended to all the wonderful mothers for their presence and participation.

Baisakhi Celebration at Baba Banda Bahadur Public School, Rohtak 🌾

The festival of Baisakhi was celebrated with great enthusiasm and joy at Baba Banda Bahadur Public School. The celebration aimed to introduce students to the cultural and traditional significance of this vibrant harvest festival.

The day began with a special morning assembly where students shared their thoughts about the importance of Baisakhi and the role of farmers in our lives. This was followed by a lively cultural programme filled with energy and colour.

Students presented wonderful performances including traditional folk dances like Bhangra and Giddha, along with speeches, poems and songs. Creative activities such as poster making also added to the festive spirit of the celebration.

Addressing the students , the Principal Mr Salil Mehta highlighted that Baisakhi is not only a harvest festival but also a symbol of unity, gratitude and prosperity. Students were encouraged to value hard work and remain connected to our rich cultural heritage.

National Mathematics Day was celebrated with great enthusiasm and academic spirit at Baba Banda Bahadur Public School. On this occasion, a series of mathematics-based inter-wing competitions were organised, offering students a meaningful platform to demonstrate their creativity, logical reasoning, and problem-solving abilities.

For Classes VI to VIII, a Maths Rangoli Competition was conducted. The First Position was secured by Dev, Chirag, and Harshul, followed by Himani, Seerat, and Anshika in Second Position. The Third Position was bagged by Sunaina, Lavanya, and Yashvi. Consolation prizes were awarded to Palak, Nain, Vansh, and Diksha for their commendable participation.

The Maths Quiz Competition for Classes VI to VIII witnessed keen participation. The Ramanujan Team comprising Anan, Garima, and Himansh secured the First Position. The Bhaskara Team with Aviral, Sajal, and Anshu stood Second, while the Dr. Kaprekar Team comprising Daksh, Arnav, and Lakshay secured the Third Position.

A Chart and Poster Making Competition was organised for Classes III to V. In Class III, Japneet secured the First Position, Vansh Tiwari stood Second, and Bhumit achieved the Third Position. In Class IV, the First Position was won by Kavyansh, followed by Preetpal in Second place and Mohi in Third place. In Class V, Avani Nehra secured the First Position, Chhavi Ahuja and Samrat jointly won the Second Position, and Harshvardhan achieved the Third Position.

The Maths Quiz Competition for Classes III to V was equally engaging. The First Position was secured by Jannat, Aksh*ta, and Divyam, the Second Position by Mayra, Kunal, and Pihul, and the Third Position by Samardeep, Maanvik, and Bharat.

Heartiest congratulations to all the winners and participants for their excellent performance. The school applauds the efforts of the students and teachers whose dedication and teamwork made this celebration a grand success.

"Baba Banda Bahadur Public School, Rohtak, hosted its annual award distribution ceremony on March 16, 2025. The event was a grand celebration of the students' academic and extracurricular achievements.

The ceremony began with the traditional candle lighting and Saraswati Vandana, setting the tone for a memorable morning. Our talented students then took center stage, mesmerizing the audience with a variety of dance items: Meri Zameen Mere Papa, Save Environment, Save Water, Itihaas Ka Main Aaina Hun, Play: Rani Lakshmi Bai, Play: Phone Addiction, Orchestra, Shiv Tandav, and many more eye-catching performances!

The event showcased the students' exceptional talents, creativity, and confidence. The audience was left spellbound by the energetic and captivating performances.

Prizes were distributed to students who excelled in academics and sports, recognizing their hard work and dedication. The event was attended by esteemed guests, parents, teachers, and staff, who encouraged and motivated the students to strive for excellence.
