Baba Banda Bahadur Public School celebrated Mother’s Day with great enthusiasm, joy, and heartfelt emotions. The event witnessed the active participation of mothers and students, making the celebration truly memorable. The program began with the ceremonial lighting of the lamp before Goddess Saraswati by the school Principal, Mr. Salil Mehta, along with the respected mothers present on the occasion.
The event was beautifully presented by Zorawar Singh House, whose students mesmerized the audience with their wonderful performances. Various cultural presentations dedicated to mothers were showcased, including group dances, group songs, dramatic performances, and musical acts. The joint performances by mothers and their children were especially touching and received warm appreciation from everyone present.
To make the celebration more engaging, several fun-filled games and activities were organized for mothers, teachers, and students. Activities like Throw the Ring, IQ Round, Paste the Bindi, Pick the Ring with a Pin, and a Talent Hunt Round brought excitement and joy to the participants. Mothers were also given the honor of being judges for different competitions.
Students also displayed their creativity through Poster Making and Greeting Card Making competitions, which were judged by parents who appreciated the efforts and talent of the young participants.
On this special occasion, Principal Mr. Salil Mehta shared his thoughts, highlighting that a mother is the first teacher in a child’s life and the greatest symbol of love, sacrifice, and guidance.
