Students actively participated in an interesting science practical activity based on observing soil microorganisms by preparing temporary slide mounts in the Biology Laboratory. During the activity, students collected small soil samples and carefully prepared microscope slides to observe different microbes present in the soil.
Using microscopes, students observed tiny microorganisms and learned about the presence and importance of soil bacteria and other microbes in maintaining soil fertility and supporting plant growth. The activity created great excitement and curiosity among students as they explored the hidden microscopic world that cannot be seen with naked eyes.
The practical session helped students develop laboratory skills, scientific observation, and experimental learning while making biology more interactive and meaningful. Such hands-on activities encourage students to explore science through investigation and real-life experiences
