Short Circuit - Kavita, TD 2011-15
During this project students are asked to take Inspiration from natural forms and found objects with emphasis on observation, selection of color, structure, and patterns. Students use forms in nature & found objects as a basis for their compositions in line and color. Students are expected to take “hands on minds on” approach & experiment in designing with screens and printing on fabric while working in an actual printing workshop. Which Includes screen making, color mixing, setting up repeats and printing on actual fabric. This course combines conceptualization, print techniques and working on coordinates for a design collection. It also involves the study and practices of the principles of creating design layouts and their application on products.
